Chapter 162: Traversal Rewards
Summary: Congratulations! You've completed a brilliant and glorious life—you have perfectly cleared this map! In this traversal, your life surpassed 98% of all traversers. You became the most feared and notorious evil overlord in the entire Empire Tempest world. You scorned the rules, disregarded life, and your atrocities earned you a place in hell ten thousand times over. All of Azeroth trembled beneath your undead army. Through sheer evil and madness, you nearly destroyed the entire world!
Yet, your dark charisma was undeniable. Your subordinates—including Hogger, Putress, and Kel'Thuzad—remained absolutely loyal to you. The worshippers of your Cult of the Damned offered their pious devotion. Worth mentioning is that after your departure from this world, Varian Wrynn, who had become an undead warrior forced to fight for you, broke free from the control of the Helm of Domination through the nobility of his soul and unyielding will. He succeeded you as the new Lich King. Under his rule, Azeroth may enter a new era of order—but that is a different story, one of epic proportions. As for his deeds… perhaps you'll encounter them in another future traversal.

Due to the unprecedented and unmatched impact you made on world history, you've received an additional 40 Traversal Coins.

Because you achieved an S-level rating and cleared the game, [Mad Clown · Zhou Ning] has now been updated to the hidden template [Lich King Jester · Zhou Ning]. This template may appear during traversal under extremely lucky conditions. Due to possessing the exclusive title "Lich King," traversals with this template will begin with Frostmourne and the Helm of Domination in your inventory.
[Congratulations, player! You've cleared the game. New maps and new features are now unlocked. You've gained access to view template tiers and perform template fusions. Please check the relevant tab for details.]
[Please select your reward promptly.]
[Option 1: Randomly receive three skills or specialties acquired during your traversal.]
[Option 2: Randomly receive three items acquired during your traversal.]
Zhou Ning took a deep breath. This was, by far, his smoothest traversal yet. A template costing only 75 Traversal Coins had yielded suppression strength worth 750. The Mad Clown, with full knowledge of the storyline, was basically hacking the game—turning a disadvantageous situation into a complete stomp. Stormwind, Lordaeron, the Lich King, the dragons, the Old Gods—he either schemed against them or crushed them all underfoot.
Once again, it proved one thing: in simulator worlds, personality matters more than power.
Opening the template tab again, sure enough, the Mad Clown template was still there, but the "Select" button had turned grayscale. The portrait had lost its former vitality, no longer exuding that wild, defiant energy. It now seemed to exist purely for collection and synergy purposes.
That was probably for the best. The guy was powerful, yes—but also way too dangerous. Moving him to the hidden pool meant Zhou Ning wouldn't have to agonize over whether to use him again.
As for the reward...
Zhou Ning's expression turned strange. Was this even a choice? It was basically a single-option question. Sure, the first choice possibly included high-value mobility skills like Blink, or maybe undead summoning and death knight skills from the Lich King.
But the second choice might contain numerous Dungeon Summoning Stones—and even the legendary weapon he managed to bring out for the first time: Frostmourne.
As usual, to boost his luck, Zhou Ning pulled out a bottle of Felix Elixir and chugged it. Once the "You feel luckier" buff appeared in his inventory, he selected the second option.
[You have received: Dungeon Summoning Stone – Purging of Stratholme.]
[You have received: Legendary Weapon – Frostmourne.]

Soon, all the rewards appeared on his panel.
Zhou Ning: …
He didn't even know whether to laugh or cry. He got the Dungeon Summoning Stone and Frostmourne, sure—but Frostmourne? That thing's not a weapon, it's practically a death sentence!
It requires 120 Willpower to equip—which basically means anyone below that threshold is just offering themselves up to die. Even at 120, it's no guarantee. One misstep and you might turn undead or get your soul obliterated.
In the short term, Frostmourne would just sit in his inventory, gathering dust. All he could do was stare at that cold, glowing sword icon and itch to use it.
Surprisingly, the pet seemed to be a delightful bonus. Zhou Ning tapped on the item and summoned it.
On the table inside his tent, a tiny dragon flapped its wings into view. It had a triceratops-shaped head and jet-black scales. It looked cute but had a nasty temper. Zhou Ning reached out to poke it with his finger—and was met with a burst of fire and a notification that Affection had decreased.
[Little Deathwing's affection toward you has decreased. Current: 49]
Looks like it's got quite the ego.
