The sounds mixed together, one light and one heavy, clearly two people.
The four immediately stopped talking, looking toward the source of the sound with some vigilance.
The entire girls' dormitory was without lights, pitch black, with only the flashlight in Rosa Sullivan's hand. She quickly swept it across the stairs, and immediately, two familiar figures came into view.
The four were stunned.
The newcomers were none other than Nora Scott and Clement Winter.
Unlike the bedraggled four, Nora was completely dry, having removed her raincoat, her uniform still dry. Clement was much the same, clean and neat, still a handsome guy.
The four had been trapped in a classroom trap, soaked by the rain, their clothes bearing marks and wrinkles, their carefully done hairstyles mostly ruined.
