After listening to Amy Mansfield's explanation, Barton Mansfield couldn't help but be stunned.

At the end of her words, she wanted to complain again, but remembering the earlier scolding, Amy had to hold back.
"How long does she plan to stay in the position?" Amy asked.
"Unless she willingly leaves," Barton said blandly, "or commits something and gets impeached by the elders."
Being the Hall Master of Biel Hall isn't something that can be done or left easily.
Even if Nora Scott is willing to step down, it would take quite some wrangling.
