Open and close her eyes, her mind is full of him.
In the middle of the night.
Nora Scott gradually began to feel sleepy.
But then she heard the sound of fingers scratching against fabric.
The moon was bright and the stars sparse, so even at night, the light was clear.
In a daze, Nora irritably opened her eyes, only to see a shadow cast on the tent. She paused, half of her body breaking free from the sleeping bag, and pulled open the tent.
She was startled to see Pedro Langley leaning in to create noise, squatting down to match her height.
"What are you doing?"
It was quite cold outside, and Nora, having her sleep disrupted, felt a bit annoyed.
The soft moonlight fell on Pedro Langley, coating him in a layer of silver light, a faint halo, his brows and eyes hidden in shadows, somewhat drunk, somewhat wistful; just one look, and one could get a little intoxicated.
In that instant, all of Nora's annoyance vanished, and her heart raced.
