"Is that your boyfriend?"
The abrupt question made Nora Scott pause.
"No," she replied aloud, looking at him curiously and asking, "What's the matter with you?"

Her response was unexpected, and Joseph Sutton was taken aback, lifting his gaze to the man standing by the car, then looking at the coat Nora was wearing, finding it inexplicable.
If you're not a couple, why are you wearing matching outfits?
Without waiting for Joseph Sutton's response, Nora waved her hand and said, "I'm off. It's Friday, aren't you going home? Say hello to your grandfather for me."
With that, she had already stepped out the door and was walking towards the steps.
Joseph Sutton pouted, staring at Nora's back, softly grumbling and complaining, "Every time it's just hello, without even changing a punctuation mark."
