Shen Bin finished speaking and left the tent, while Shen Chun sat there unmoved. Only when a candle burned out, leaving the tent in darkness, did she move her stiff body, turn around, and lie down on the bed. Without undressing, she simply pulled the blanket over herself, tears once again soaking the pillow.
Early in the morning, Ye Ling was pushed awake by a woman who then gestured towards the outside before leaving. Ye Ling stared in a daze for a while, seeing the other people still asleep in the tent, before quietly getting dressed and stepping out of the tent. Outside stood Shen Bin and Shen Chun, not far behind them was a car; Ye Ling knew this was Shen Chun about to leave and quickly walked over.
Recalling yesterday's events, Ye Ling couldn't bring herself to be warm; she merely held Shen Chun's hand, advising her on what to be careful about during the journey. Shen Bin had gone over to the car, and Shen Chun finally raised her head to look at Ye Ling.
