He looked happy a few seconds ago.
His eyes lit up at the sight and taste of food, but now he looks… Lost in thought. Worried about something.
"Elian… Are you okay?" I question, and he swallows as he looks at me.
Does he not like the broth? Does his body hurt too much?
I set the bowl of broth down, gently push the tray between us away and move closer to him.
"Elian, what is it?" I question in worry as I take his hands, and I watch his lips quiver.
Tears flood his eyes, and my heart skips a beat.
"I'm sorry I marked you…" He cries, and I pause.
"I… I didn't mean to. I didn't know what it meant. I don't… I would never want to make you an Omega. I wasn't thinking straight, and I just… I just wanted to keep you for myself and I…" He adds as he starts bawling, and my jaw drops at the frightened innocence os his tears.
"I'm sorry…" He cries harder, and a small smile splits my face as I stare at him.
