Chapter 410 - Chapter 410: Haku

After Naruto, Minato, and the others returned home, Naruto's face remained complicated the entire way. He didn't know how to face them. Minato could tell, but chose not to say anything. Maybe his son was just throwing a tantrum — either way, there were more pressing matters at hand. They had to carry out the mission and retrieve the Red Moon Scroll.

Meanwhile, Kiyosuke wandered through Konoha, curious about how this version of the village differed from the one he came from.

On the street, he ran into the familiar trio — the idiot Shikamaru, the skinny Choji, and the soft, adorable Ino. Seeing them together again felt strange. And then came Sasuke — the playboy himself. The guy was surrounded by a flock of giggling girls, making Kiyosuke shake his head in disbelief.

But what truly shocked him was the change in the Uchiha clan. Their reputation in this world's Konoha was spotless. Mention "Uchiha," and everyone in the village would give a thumbs-up.

Every single Uchiha was cheerful and helpful. In Konoha, the very name "Uchiha" was synonymous with kindness.

Kiyosuke was dumbfounded.

My god… are these really the Uchiha?

The eldest son, Uchiha Itachi, had refused to inherit the family estate and instead went out to start his own business, leaving his younger brother Sasuke behind — now the village's top womanizer.

Kiyosuke could only shake his head.

As expected… this world is completely reversed.

"Yo! Kiyosuke! Long time no see!"

The familiar silver-haired man with both eyes visible greeted him cheerfully — Kakashi. He wasn't even wearing his forehead protector to cover his Sharingan, and his tone… why did it sound so much like Guy's?

"Oh, Kakashi. What's up?"

Kakashi slung an arm over his shoulder with a bright grin.

"Kiyosuke! Let's have a fun match! I believe I can beat you! I can feel my youth burning!"

Good grief… did you become Guy now?

"No. I refuse."

Kiyosuke quickly stepped away and left, muttering under his breath,

"Damn it, this world is seriously weird."

Just then, a silver-haired man with glasses dropped down in front of him.

"Kiyosuke-sama, Orochimaru-sama requests your presence."

Kiyosuke blinked in surprise.

"Yakushi Kabuto? Huh? He's not dead?"

"Who?" Kabuto looked puzzled, not understanding what Kiyosuke meant.

"Orochimaru."

"Orochimaru-sama? Of course she isn't dead."

"She…?"

"Take me to her."

Following Kabuto through Konoha's underground passages, they arrived at Orochimaru's base — apparently, this version of Orochimaru had never defected. She was still working in Konoha as a researcher.

Kabuto led him into the lab. There, instead of the familiar pale, androgynous man, stood a woman at the workbench, busy with her experiments.

Her skin was porcelain-white, her golden, snake-like eyes lined with purple eyeshadow — just like Orochimaru's.

Her figure was graceful and curvaceous, the white lab coat doing nothing to hide her alluring body.

Wait… did Orochimaru switch bodies with a woman again?

That was pretty much standard procedure for Orochimaru, so Kiyosuke wasn't all that surprised.

"Orochimaru-sama, I've brought Kiyosuke-sama."

"Thank you, Kabuto-kun."

Orochimaru smiled, setting down the test tube before turning around. Her eyes softened — eyes Kiyosuke had never seen on her before. They were warm, almost like a parent seeing their child.

"Kiyosuke-kun, it's been such a long time since you've come to see me."

Whoa, what's with that tone? Why does it sound so… wistful?

"I've just been busy with missions," Kiyosuke said stiffly.

"Is that so? You must've heard about Jiraiya's death, haven't you?"

"I did. Jiraiya-sama sacrificed himself. It's… very saddening."

"Liar. You're about to smile."

Orochimaru frowned, clearly feeling something off about him.

Kiyosuke coughed lightly, saying nothing. Orochimaru sighed and continued.

"Tsunade must've already told you about the Red Moon Scroll. You have to retrieve it, or else this entire world will fall into chaos."

"That masked man — is he really that strong?"

"Yes. He's already attacked several villages, leaving them half-destroyed. That masked man and his puppets make him one of the most dangerous beings in the shinobi world. Even Jiraiya couldn't defeat him."

Her tone carried genuine concern — something Kiyosuke had never seen from his own world's Orochimaru. That version was always calm, composed, and detached. The contrast made him realize just how different these worlds truly were.

Still… this world was pretty interesting.

"I understand. I'll bring back the Red Moon Scroll. Please don't worry, Sensei."

"Good. You are my student, after all — I have faith in you."

Orochimaru nodded before adding,

"By the way, Shinichi hasn't come by lately. Did he go on a mission?"

"Yes. He's currently deployed."

Orochimaru's voice softened with worry.

"The outside world is dangerous. And with so many people who still hold grudges against me… what if he runs into trouble? What if he's not eating well? Or sleeping well?"

She sounded exactly like a doting parent fretting over their child, terrified that Asakawa Shinichi might be bullied or go hungry out there.

Meanwhile, the real Shinichi was out with his squadmates, singing and grilling meat around a campfire — enjoying life to the fullest.

So this is the difference between worlds, huh?

Damn it. Why couldn't my Sensei have been like a caring mother instead of a deranged researcher obsessed with human experiments?!

For a moment, Kiyosuke actually felt jealous of this world's happy, wholesome version of himself.

But he quickly brushed the feeling aside. After chatting a bit more with Orochimaru, he left the lab, emotions tangled and heavy.

...

By the time night fell, Kiyosuke headed to the bathhouse for a soak — only to spot someone peeking inside from behind the wall.

Neji.

Good lord… you finally discovered the true use of the Byakugan?

This Neji was a total pervert — and an honest one. He flailed his arms in excitement, whispering loudly,

"Yes, yes! Move a little to the right! Perfect pose — incredible! This is world-class!"

"…"

Character ruined beyond repair.

Kiyosuke rubbed his temple in exasperation. In this world, the Uchiha were saints, while the Hyūga were a clan of degenerates.

This world was insane.

And just thinking about his own delinquent subordinate, Hinata, gave him a headache.

He needed to find Obito soon and get out of this world. Hopefully Naruto and Minato were getting along fine.

He'd brought Naruto here to help him make peace with his regrets — to give him closure. Kiyosuke could only hope it was working.

After his bath, Kiyosuke returned home.

"I'm back."

"Welcome home, Kiyosuke-sama."

The one who greeted him was Haku. As usual, Kiyosuke nodded — but when his eyes dropped to Haku's chest, he froze.

If he remembered correctly… Haku was supposed to be flat.

So what the hell were those mountains?

"Haku, you…"

"What's wrong, Kiyosuke-sama?"

Haku tilted her head, the innocent expression and gentle voice so dangerously cute that it almost gave Kiyosuke a nosebleed.

Damn it… too cute!

Wait a second — in this world, Haku's a girl?!
