It was just a week before the promotional examination, and it was such a crazy moment.
The school had summoned everyone from each class to the auditorium for a quick brief meeting.
The teachers had warned everyone that if they don't pass , they'll would not be promoted to the next year, they also said the tests were going to be extremely difficult.
First, they wanted to present an award for the best students of each class, the school council president, Oscar Hajime was the presenter.
"Alright then.....let's begin shall we?", he proposed.
"For the best students in the third year, we have; Sakura Haijima, Ken Su, and of course, Moi", he said so with a bright smile which captured the heart of the girls, and disgusted those of the boys.
While the girls were screaming "Awwwwn", the boys were silently thinking of ways to torture him.
"Now for the second years, we have only females".
Lucas who was far gone in sleep instantly woke up, he was sitting next to Mia.
As if something had pinched his soul or something.
"Mei Haruno, Erika Anderson and finally Hoshi Kio", Oscar announced.
("You mean to tell me.....that only females topped the second year group???,Damn....how dumb are the boys"), he thought intensively.
Mia who was sitting next to him teased him since he was always on about females being inferior and all that.
"And finally, for the first years, we have 4 awardees, since two personalities both got first place.", he was surprised as he was saying it, and the crowd was twice as surprised since it was the first time happening in the academy.
"We have Hana Yoichi, Lilia Lin...and for the first place, we have Mia Linston....and Lucas Linston".
The crowd gave a loud applause for them. Lucas was looking pessimistic as always, the boys in his class were proud of him even though they've tried to humiliate him for a number of times.
The meeting came to an end and everything went back to normal...sort of
