Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Like Tobirama the Most

"Didn't I tell you that brat, Yi, developed an A-rank Lightning Release ninjutsu? Recently, Yi plans to further develop this ninjutsu, which requires a good weapon.

But chakra metal, where is it so easy to find? The Senju clan's previous inventory was all donated to Konoha, and this time, that brat needs a lot of chakra metal.

I asked him what kind of weapon he wanted, and he wanted a sword. I just thought that since no one was using the Lightning God Sword, it wouldn't be bad to give it to him," Tsunade said dismissively.

"But that's Teacher Tobirama's sword, is it really alright to just give it away like that?" Hiruzen Sarutobi winced. If Tobirama Senju knew that his weapon would fall into the hands of an Uchiha, he would probably be reanimated from the Pure Land and scold them, his unfilial disciples and grandchildren, to death.

Tsunade, however, shrugged dismissively: "What's there to care about? In the end, it's just a sword.

It doesn't really have that much symbolic meaning. Isn't your second grandfather's greatest legacy already inherited by you? Or rather, you yourselves are your second grandfather's legacy. Seeing you expand and strengthen Konoha, your second grandfather probably wouldn't have any objections."

Tsunade's words made Hiruzen Sarutobi feel a surge of comfort. They, too, were Tobirama Senju's legacy. It was because of their teacher's sacrifice that they were able to survive.

For all these years, Hiruzen Sarutobi had always wanted to prove that his teacher was not wrong in choosing him, working diligently, and if one looked closely, he had already started to get white hair.

Now, hearing Tsunade evaluate him in such a way, Hiruzen Sarutobi was naturally immensely pleased.

"Anyway, the Lightning God Sword is just gathering dust, so why not give it to Uchiha Yi? It can also be seen as a gesture from you.

I've observed Yi; he's a very easygoing person. At least, if you treat him well, he'll remember it. You don't have to worry about raising an ungrateful person. His mind is also very stable, not like the Uchiha you talk about," Tsunade thought for a moment before reminding Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Hiruzen Sarutobi took a puff of his dry tobacco and then said, "The Lightning God Sword is still in the Hokage's office. You didn't take it back then, and it's still the Second Hokage's sword, so it's not good to just give it to him directly.

How about this, you have Uchiha Yi write Chidori into the Scroll of Seals. That way, I can take out the Lightning God Sword as an incentive."

"Alright!" Tsunade didn't refuse upon hearing this. Chidori itself was completed under her and Mito Uzumaki's guidance. If Hiruzen Sarutobi really wanted it, he could totally ask them.

Without the Sharingan, this ninjutsu is practically useless, and there are few powerful Lightning Release ninja in the village.

In fact, this was already a disguised way of giving the Lightning God Sword to Uchiha Yi.

"Oh, right, I also want the Flying Thunder God Technique scroll." As if remembering something, Tsunade spoke to Hiruzen Sarutobi again.

"Flying Thunder God Technique? Does Uchiha Yi have spatial talent?" Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned immediately. He really hadn't noticed that Uchiha Yi had such a talent.

Tobirama Senju had made all of them practice the Flying Thunder God Technique back then, but none of them, a group of strong individuals who had now grown to Kage-level and elite jonin, had managed to learn it.

Hiruzen Sarutobi originally thought that the Flying Thunder God Technique would be lost, but he didn't expect that Uchiha Yi might be able to learn it.

"Yes, I discovered it a while ago when I had Uchiha Yi sign the slug contract. His talent in spatial ninjutsu is excellent, possibly not inferior to the Second Grandfather's," Tsunade said, indicating that she really couldn't tell the truth.

That brat Uchiha Yi is too smart, and his talent is too outstanding. There isn't much she can teach Uchiha Yi now.

Is it really going to be a struggle for Uchiha Yi to master medical ninjutsu in the next few years?

If that were truly the case, even Tsunade would have to admit that she was misleading a promising talent.

It would be better to let Uchiha Yi become a strong ninja sooner.

By giving Uchiha Yi the Flying Thunder God Technique, one of Konoha's most difficult ninjutsu to learn, he should be able to research it for a few more years, right?

Once Uchiha Yi becomes famous, she can also proudly tell others that she was his teacher!

"Is that so? Let him try then. I also studied the Flying Thunder God Technique back then, but unfortunately, I didn't learn it. Oh, right, Mirror didn't learn it either." Hiruzen Sarutobi didn't forget to add Uchiha Mirror to prove that his talent wasn't the problem: "If Yi can learn it, it will be a good thing for the upcoming war.

However, to learn the Flying Thunder God Technique, one doesn't just need spatial talent, but also excellent reaction capabilities and powerful eyesight. Otherwise, even if you teleport, it's just suicide.

In addition, a solid foundation in sealing jutsu is also required.

None of these can be accomplished in a short time.

If what you say is true, why not let him continue studying at the Ninja Academy for a few more years? He can use that time to learn the Flying Thunder God Technique."

"No, that's not necessary. If that brat continues to stay in the academy, it would simply be a waste of his talent." Tsunade refused without hesitation. In her opinion, the Flying Thunder God Technique was merely icing on the cake for Uchiha Yi.

Didn't her grandfather and Uchiha Madara also not have the Flying Thunder God Technique?

Didn't they still become peerless powerhouses?

Her grandmother also didn't know the Flying Thunder God Technique, yet didn't she become the strongest person in the ninja world at the time?

Her teacher, Hiruzen Sarutobi, didn't learn the Flying Thunder God Technique, but wasn't he still one of the Five Kage, who once wielded a big stick and defeated the Third Kazekage?

"Fine, if you think so, then give him the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Remember to tell him that the Flying Thunder God Technique is very dangerous, and he shouldn't try it without complete confidence." Hiruzen Sarutobi pondered for a long time before agreeing to Tsunade's request.

Hiruzen Sarutobi was already feeling immense pressure. Konoha was likely to face a multi-front war, so where did he have the time to worry about what would happen after Uchiha Yi grew up?

He wished Uchiha Yi would get stronger and stronger.

"Alright! I'm taking the Lightning God Sword too. I'll have Uchiha Yi submit a scroll of the Chidori ninjutsu later." Tsunade stood up, waved her hand, and walked out.

Watching the door close, Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed softly. A great ninja war could break out at any moment, and all he could do was delay it as much as possible, giving the new generation time to grow and for the Wood Release experiments to progress.

Konoha was not without trump cards. Mito Uzumaki might not be without fighting power now. The destruction of Uzushiogakure might have been a test of Mito Uzumaki's strength. If they truly attacked, Mito Uzumaki could definitely make those people doubt their lives.

But that should be the last trump card.

As a junior, Hiruzen Sarutobi did not want such a thing to happen.

How great it would have been if the First Hokage had unified the ninja world back then!
