Chapter 62 - Revelation

"Hii~, I am Artemis! Pleased to meet you!"

Artemis greeted the people on the ship quite cheerfully.

"And this is my beloved, Orion!"

Artemis grabbed Orion by the scruff of his neck and held him up for everyone to see.

"Hi hi, I'm Orion, a useless little plushie…"

Orion listlessly raised a paw.

The Moon Goddess's love was just too heavy; he really couldn't handle it!

Artemis had a bit of a social butterfly feel about her, and before long, she had blended in with everyone on the ship, happily chatting with Euryale and the others.

Thanks to this, Orion was liberated and ran over to the corner where Lin Qi was to catch his breath.

"...So it sounds like your experiences here have been quite thrilling! It's a pity Artemis and I arrived a bit late, otherwise it would have definitely been a lot of fun."

Hearing Lin Qi recount the events that had happened in this Singularity and imagining the scenes of sailing the ship to the heavens and seas, Orion couldn't help but feel a bit regretful that he hadn't boarded the ship earlier.

"Haha, actually, I was late too. Before I arrived, Captain Drake snatched the Holy Grail right out of Poseidon's hands. That battle must have been far more thrilling than any of the ones I participated in."

Lin Qi laughed, guessing Orion's thoughts.

But as someone who had personally experienced all this, he had no desire to repeat any of it.

"Poseidon? The Poseidon I'm thinking of?"

Orion's eyes widened, and he pointed a paw at himself.

"The very one. The Sea God, Poseidon. He even brought out Atlantis back then."

"No way, how? From what you're saying, Captain Drake was just an ordinary human at the time, right? How did she manage to crush Poseidon?"

Orion found it even harder to believe.

He knew the power of a deity all too well. Even downgraded to a Servant, they should still be able to crush ordinary Servants.

And if he managed to bring out Atlantis, there was no way Poseidon could have been as weak as Artemis, right?

"About that... I'd like to know too…"

As someone who had experienced being an ordinary human and had a deep understanding of the limits of ordinary human power, Lin Qi also couldn't figure out how Drake had managed to beat down a full-fledged god who possessed a Holy Grail.

"...Forget it, let's not think about this anymore."

Orion thought for a long while but couldn't come up with any method for an ordinary human to defeat a great god, so he promptly gave up on thinking about it. After all, he wasn't the type with a particularly good brain.

"By the way, what are you all going to do next? That guy Heracles isn't easy to fight. Even if I manifested in my normal form, I still wouldn't be able to beat him."

Although Orion himself was a Grand Archer, he had a pretty realistic understanding of his own strength. Facing a mechanics-cheat like Heracles, taking a few of his lives would probably be his limit.

"The most crucial thing next should be to find King David, right? When he manifested, he had the Ark of the Covenant with him. Only with that can we deal with Heracles."

Lin Qi said without hesitation.

He had already mentally prepared his plans for what came next!

"So targeted? Did you encounter King David before?"

Orion looked at Lin Qi in surprise.

"No, it's mainly because…"

Lin Qi was already used to this oft-repeated topic and casually explained it away.

"I see!"

"Clairvoyance is such a useful ability, so enviable!"

"If I had a high-rank Clairvoyance too, wouldn't I be able to easily sneak around behind Artemis's back to find pretty and cute girls?"

"Ehehe, pretty girls~"

Orion, as he spoke, fell into a fantasy, giggling foolishly.

Regarding Orion's thoughts, Lin Qi decided to reserve his judgment.

After all…

Lin Qi glanced at a certain goddess who had appeared at some point and silently moved a little further away from Orion.

"Be—lov—ed—"

Although Artemis's voice was extremely sweet, to Orion's ears, it sounded like a funeral bell tolling his descent into hell.

Orion sobered up instantly, stiffly turning his head to look at Artemis, revealing a smile uglier than crying.

"A-Ar-Artemis, I was just joking, you wouldn't be angry with me over this... would you?"

Orion asked cautiously.

"Really now, darling, you're talking nonsense again. Let me give you a proper treatment~"

Artemis grabbed Orion in one swift motion.

Yamero!

Someone save me!

Orion stretched a paw out pleadingly towards the people around him.

But in response to Orion's cries for help, everyone he looked at unanimously averted their gaze.

I didn't see anything…

Seeing this, Orion fell into despair.

What befell Orion remains unknown to us.

But after a hard-fought battle, facing the dimming sky, aside from leaving some people on night watch and arranging the rotation order, the rest of the people dragged their exhausted bodies and fell into slumber.

Resting and sleeping on a ship was a first for Lin Qi. He originally thought he wouldn't be able to sleep, but he surprisingly found that after lying down for just a little while, he successfully fell asleep.

And then…

Lin Qi saw, under the moonlight, a golden warship heading straight for an unfamiliar small island under the cover of night.

Lin Qi saw a golden-haired man, accompanied by a burly man like a black iron tower, storming onto the island.

Lin Qi saw two Archers doing their utmost to hold back that burly man.

Behind the two was a golden chest that looked very heavy and sturdy—

"—Hah, Hah…"

Lin Qi was startled awake, bolting upright from the bed, gasping for air.

Lin Qi's eyes gleamed in the faint moonlight, his mind constantly replaying the "dream" from just moments before.

This wasn't a dream!

It was a [Revelation], a true [Revelation]!

Even though Lin Qi had never truly received a [Revelation] before, as one who possessed the [Revelation] skill, he still had the ability to recognize a genuine [Revelation].

And if this dream was a [Revelation] then…

Lin Qi didn't ponder any further. Instead, he quickly rolled out of bed and went to find Drake.

"What? They're really making a move at night? They're this desperate?!"

After hearing Lin Qi's account, Drake couldn't stay seated either. Cursing under her breath, she put on her personal effects and then rallied the pirates who had been awakened by Lin Qi's movements.

"Alright lads, stop sleeping! Those bastards are trying to pull a fast one on us; they're already making a run for the finish line. Hoist the sails and let's go, unless you wanna die without knowing how!"

Although the pirates were a bit grumpy from being woken up suddenly, they could tell from the expressions on Drake and Lin Qi's faces that the situation was serious.

So they all hurriedly put on their clothes and sprang into action under Drake's command.

In no time at all, the main sail of the Golden Hind was raised again, and under the moonlight, it sailed straight towards a certain direction.
