Black lines began appearing in Logan's eyes, spreading like cursed veins. They deepened with every passing second until both of his eyes turned completely pitch black. Dark, smoke-like energy curled around his body like living shadows.
Slowly, Logan rose to his feet, straightening his back. The aura around him swelled violently, growing heavier with each passing moment — so oppressive that the air itself seemed to suffocate.
Rudeous, Rowan, Lilith, and Daliah all struggled to breathe beneath the crushing pressure. "Logan… stop…" Rowan said with great difficulty. "You're going to harm us too."
But Logan did not even look at him. It was as if he couldn't hear a single word. He slowly straightened both of his palms.
His own sword lifted from the ground and flew straight into one hand. At the same time, another blade, a fallen enemy's weapon rose from the battlefield and rushed into his other hand.
Then Logan began to walk forward.
