In the morning Adam waking up with the determination of finding out what is "child of inertia"
Adam was walking the streets of Sterie. People were looking at him weirdly because of his legs.Which was a norm in this world but not Sterie.
"People are staring daggers at me" Adam said with a sadden voice.
A girl with a black hair and some purple highlights was staring at him, but Adam could sense something come from her. He felt like his soul wanted to leave his striving for something more.He approached the girl wanting to find out why his body was reacting like that.
"Who are you?"
"That's a rude way to ask for someone's name"
"Sorry about that I'm Adam and what's your name?"
"I'm Evelyn, nice to meet you" she spoke with a smile.
It was a moment of silence, but Adam broke it with a question "Do you know about child of inertia?" Evelyn answered with "I am one and what about it", " Well I felt something coming from you" Adam said. "So you're one too, let's go talk somewhere private" Evelyn said in a serious tone.
They walked to a cafe and sat inside.
"So that's what happened" Adam said while picking up his cup of tea. "Hmm... Interesting."
"So you only become a child of inertia last night" Spoke Evelyn.
Adam didn't tell her about his immortality.
"Well you came to the right person someone can help you adjust you to your blessing" she said, "Follow me."
They left the cafe.
They arrived at a place with where children of inertia can be evaluated."It will be a type of force, depends on if you can with stand "

They walk inside the building and there was a pod with clear glass, "Go inside I'll set it up to see where you rank" Adam agreed with a nod
and walked into the pod.
"Now at first you'll feel at little weird, but you'll get used to it just say one when you're ready"

Adam felt like his body was being stomped by an elephant "It hurts so much", "You only have a few more seconds". Adam felt everything being tightened, but he decided to endure it for the last couple of seconds. "We're done", Adam felt happy that it was over "Never again that was hell".

Adam got up after taking deep breaths "If it's not that thing then I gladly do it"
