The group of six adventurers & a small handful of supporters, entered the dungeon, after making a quick stop by the Ganesha familia to drop Ganesha off, have a couple more supporters, and get Ardee & Shakti's equipment. Shaki, as much as she doesn't want anything bad to happen to her little sister, couldn't help but dote over how cute Ardee was in her light armor and the light sword on her hip.
The first floor was easy pickings. Shurry even hunted down a jack bird, securing a million valis right off the bat. Alise struggled, but managed to be victorious against a goblin on her own. Neze took down her own goblin with some ease. Ardee struggled the most, but even she managed to kill a goblin on her own as well.
"You did it Ardee!"
"Thanks, but you were amazing."
"Heh heh, but Neze was even better! She tore her goblin apart. So cool!"
"Stop it… I only did so well because I'm a werewolf…" She shyly replied, stealing a couple glances over at Shurry. "Besides, he's better than all of us. He actually caught the jack bird."
"BY THE GODS! You managed to catch one of those things?" A supporter from Ganesha familia bellowed in shock. As he put the golden egg item in the carrying sack.
"Yep! They're pretty slow. Easy prey! Though they taste yucky. Worse than dirt." Shurry replied, and then went over to his friends. "Lemme see, everyone's okay, right?"
A kobold came around the corner, and bared its fangs. Shurry acted before anyone else knew what was happening. He transformed, and growled, a sound that seemed to carry some information with it. Neze was confused because she understood it, but also was confused because it wasn't speech, rather a feeling.
The kobold froze in place, terrified…
"Ugh, just kill it. Kobolds are weak monsters."
"Shh, wait. He's doing something else."
"What could he possibly be doing?"
"Shut up and watch."
Shakti was a little upset, but decided to watch…
The Kobold finally moved, crouching to the ground, taking a completely submissive position. It became a willing subordinate of Shurry's.
"WHAT!?" Shakti shouted. "What kind of technique was that? An effortless submission?! Just like that?"
"Now the kobold can do some of the carrying!" Shurry said, transforming back to normal, excitedly wagging his tail and smiling.
"That… Was… Not… Normal…" The supporters all uttered in surprise.
"Shurry! That was cool. The kobold looks tamer now."
"Of course it does, Shurry's the alpha wolf. I'm stronger just being near him. That kobold probably felt it and decided to submit too." Neze said, as if it was only natural.
"I'd heard stories about the mighty werewolves from before the age of gods. They were strong, especially that one story about that one who united all the wolf packs. The story left out the person's name, but he was the hero of their kind."
"I'm not that impressive… I just wanted to increase the size of my pack a little bit." Shurry blushed, flicking his ears a little… "Unccy Maxy said I should build up my pack as big as possible."
"You have a whole wolf pack!?" Ardee's eyes sparkled.
"Can we see it?!" Alise added with a similar interest.
"Yeah! We're going down there this time. The under garden is our goal." He cheered.
"Huh? That's further than the Amphisbaena. And it's still alive. How are we going to get there?"
"Well, I wanna try killing it a different way this time. I think it tasted so bad last time because there wasn't any seasoning. So I'm going to avoid pressure cooking it this time."
"This time…?"
"Yeah, he's killed it before. And apparently in the most embarrassing way possible for it too. I sorta wanna see him do that this time, but let's see how creative he can be this time."
"Why's he going to kill it?"
"Hathor was able to force the guild to give us the responsibility after what happened to your familia. But, we couldn't kill it. So now Shurry's gonna get a big meal."
"Don't worry big sister! I'll share the hunt with you!" He said and then turned. "Let's go!"
The first floor, cleared. The second floor, cleared. The third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh… All the way until the entry point to the 13th floor. Alise, and Ardee were both equally exhausted, each riding on a newly tamed monster's back. Neze was the next most exhausted, followed by the supporters. They waited here for a little bit while Shurry went on and found a couple of hell hounds strong enough to carry everyone, when he came back…
"Woah! You came tame these too!"
"Yep, dogs are just tamed wolves anyway, I just need to appeal to that wolf within, and they listen." The hounds chomp a couple times, and Shurry giggled. "He says he was never a dog, because he was always a wolf at heart. You can ride them instead when you get tired again."
"Really? Riding a hell hound sounds like fun." Alise expressed.

It wasn't long before everyone reached the 18th floor, and set up camp in the woods. Alise, Ardee, and Neze used this time to play with Shurry… It was pretty much just good fun for the majority of it. However, they did do some actual training. And then the three girls fell asleep holding each other. Shurry was sleeping in Nernatti's tent, his dreams were a little difficult, but not as bad as it could have been.
In the morning they continued their dive. Traversing all the way down to floor 25, then 26, and then finally 27. Where the Amphisbaena was waiting. It can spawn anywhere on these three floors, but it is most frequently fought on the 27th floor, given that there is a safe zone immediately after this floor.
Shurry smirked, and dashed forward, faster than he did the last time. Ramming his head into the Monster Rex's body so hard, it had a huge indent before the rest of its body caught up, and was sent hurtling into the dungeon wall before it could even attack.
"What the actual hell!"
"Woah! He sent it flying!"
"Nernatti, tell me honestly, is he really only a level 3?"
"Lady Hathor said it herself, didn't she? He is level 3, but his life hasn't been an easy one. Leon himself had to try to keep up with his speed…" She replied in a half surprised voice of her own. Lady Hathor… Have you seen this for yourself yet? This is insane. None of Zeus or Hera familia have reports of this kind of ability at this level. And Zald is crazy powerful!
