UK:GSW Chapter 350 – The Endgame Arrives for Batman Sasuke

The "Musou Game" mode was over. What came next was the "Purgatory Mode" suffering journey.jpg.

If Sasuke knew he was actually "playing a game" right now, he would surely let out a soul-deep scream like that.

Ever since the "Joker" appeared, in every subsequent battle — unless he was just clearing out small fry — whenever Sasuke faced anyone even slightly strong, he would end up falling into the Joker's schemes. One lethal joke after another came in succession, leaving Sasuke repeatedly humiliated, over and over reenacting the "thunder strikes, the rain falls, and the Second Pillar limps home" scenario.

Every time Sasuke made full preparations to go after the Joker, the latter would always, like a nesting doll, pull out a brand-new trick. Backup plans appeared one after another, keeping Batman Sasuke in a constant state of humiliation, utterly played in the palm of the Joker's hand.

However, because the Joker wasn't actually aiming to defeat Batman, even when he had an overwhelming advantage, his attitude was always, "I'm just playing — I'm not here to win."

Whenever he was in total control, he would intentionally expose huge openings, giving Batman plenty of chances to counterattack — which meant Sasuke would scrape by with neither victory nor loss.

Of course, "no win, no loss" for Batman Sasuke meant a total loss. Loss upon loss.

Because when the Batman who ruled Gotham through fear couldn't defeat a criminal — especially one who mocked him to his face — cracks began appearing in that fearsome authority, allowing criminals to raise their heads.

And when Batman repeatedly failed to defeat such a mocking criminal, his prestige inevitably dropped lower and lower, emboldening Gotham's underworld even further.

The truth was, on recent nights, Gotham was flooded with crime. Those who had once been cowed by Batman were now like springs compressed to the limit — snapping back with terrifying force.

Murder, arson, robbery, sexual assault, and violent crimes surged explosively, putting Gotham on par with the true "City of Crime" next door — New York.

But Gotham's population and police force were far smaller than New York's, turning the nights into pure nightmares for officers. Every night saw casualties, no one could sleep well, and within a short time, many fell into nervous breakdowns.

Even the "Shining Knight" Naruto and his fellow justice-seekers were run ragged, often finding themselves in danger — the resurgent criminals were so brazen they dared to target members of Naruto's team directly.

Though every attack ultimately failed for one reason or another, and they always escaped danger in the end, the constant assaults left the team stressed, exhausted, and in some cases traumatized. Some developed PTSD, became paranoid, and had to see psychologists.

While no one quit, things couldn't go on like this. Reluctantly, Naruto granted administrative leave to these people, even sending them away from Gotham to rest in safer cities or the countryside.

This was a heavy blow to the already understaffed forces of justice.

Without a doubt, in this battle between justice and evil, the forces of justice had completely fallen into disadvantage — all because Batman Sasuke had not won against the Joker.

And with each confrontation, Sasuke's mood grew heavier, the pressure greater. His memories of the ninja world began to resurface, making him increasingly unstable.

Because the Joker not only toyed with Batman — he also possessed something that shocked Sasuke: the Sharingan!

Yes — the Joker had a Sharingan!

Sasuke first discovered this during their sixth battle. In their third fight, when Sasuke was on the back foot, he couldn't help but activate his Sharingan. With the dynamic vision of his Three Tomoe Sharingan, he suppressed the Joker.

However, in their fourth battle, Sasuke was stunned to find the Joker could once again keep up with his movements — even overpower him in direct combat.

This baffled Sasuke. How could the Joker have "powered up" like this?

After a few more encounters, in their sixth fight, Sasuke's active Sharingan was completely suppressed by the Joker. Unable to hold back, he growled "Impossible."

That single word was like a switch — instantly exciting the Joker. After a burst of manic laughter and mockery, the Joker slowly raised his hands, grasped the cursed blindfold covering his eyes, unfastened its restraints, and pulled it down.

What was revealed were a pair of bloodshot, crazed, terrifying eyes — but the madness itself didn't shock Batman, as he had already suspected it.

What truly stunned him was that those eyes were Sharingan — and not just any Sharingan, but a higher form than his own.

The Mangekyō Sharingan!

And even more — Sasuke recognized the pattern. The pinwheel design was exactly that of Uchiha Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Impossible… these eyes… these eyes… why? Why do you have these eyes? Why do you have his eyes?!"

"Who are you? Answer me! Who the hell are you?!"

At that moment, Batman Sasuke lost his composure completely, falling into wild agitation as all reason snapped in his mind.

Rain fell from the sky. Gotham wailed. Darkness cloaked the city.

And facing Sasuke's breakdown, the Joker only laughed — a vicious, frenzied, hysterical laugh — and in that laughter, he spoke:

"Who am I? You're asking me who I am? Hahahahahaha~~~ How laughable! How hilarious! Hahahaha~~ As expected, my adorable little Bat, you are the real entertainment. The real joke! Hahahahaha~~"

Faced with such riddling taunts, Sasuke's response was simple — he furiously launched himself at the Joker.

The Joker, taking a punch to the face, only laughed louder as he counterattacked, speaking in a voice full of perverse delight:

"Hahaha~ hahahahaha~~ Yes~ keep going~ harder~ that's it~ my little cutie, keep hitting~ hahahaha~~"

"Yes, yes, that's it~~ And as a reward for all your effort, I'll tell you~~ Ten-plus years ago, in that alley, that night you lost your parents — tell me, do you really think the only thing you lost that night was your parents? Or that your parents were just killed by some passing junkie? Hahahaha~~"

"Yes, that's right, go on! Go investigate! Find out the truth about what was really hidden that night — and then, I'll come find you again, my adorable little Bat, hahahahaha~~~"

Laughing wildly, the Joker spread his arms wide. For the first time, he revealed something un-Joker-like — a massive cape unfurled from his back, like Batman's but more tattered, battle-worn, and terrifying.

As the cape spread open, the Joker transformed into a swarm of bats, scattering into the sky before Sasuke's shaken eyes, leaving him standing there with a storm of emotions.

Afterward, Sasuke immediately began investigating that night more than a decade ago, questioning Alfred — who had been the butler even then. But Alfred's account matched what Sasuke already knew; there was no sign he had lied or hidden anything.

But… did Alfred truly know the truth?

Sasuke's suspicion grew, and as he investigated further, he began uncovering subtle clues — many provided by the Joker himself.

Gradually, Sasuke discovered something chilling: the people who died in that alley that night weren't just his parents — there was someone else.

Yet this person's existence had been erased, vanished from everyone's memory and knowledge as though they had never been there.

But Sasuke was certain — such a person had existed. As his memories "revived" through investigation, broken fragments returned: when he was young, besides his parents, there had been another family member with him. And that person was the true eldest son of the Uchiha family.

Uchiha Itachi.

Yes — Sasuke realized that his older brother, Uchiha Itachi, existed in this world as well, still his brother, still the Uchiha heir.

And yet, this person had been erased from everyone's memory — even all traces of his existence had disappeared, as though he had never been born.

But Sasuke's recovered memories told him he had been real.

This bizarre, surreal reality shook Sasuke's heart and shattered his understanding of the world. He even began to suspect he'd been poisoned or infected by some Joker-made virus, causing hallucinations so severe he couldn't distinguish illusion from reality, making him want to scream, "I can't tell anymore!"

In the end, Sasuke held back and continued his investigation into the past and into the truth in his memory.

Along the way, he encountered the Joker several more times. Each time, the Joker would spew endless maddening words and drop hints for Sasuke to investigate — as if playing a grand puzzle game with him.

If things had continued like this, it would have been manageable. But the Joker suddenly hit Batman Sasuke with a huge blow.

He ambushed the "Shining Knight" Naruto, kidnapping him and his team, placing them in two separate locations with timed bombs, forcing Batman to choose who to save.

Naturally, Naruto, as the Shining Knight, wanted Batman to save his teammates, not himself. He had no fear of death, but his friends had to live — sacrificing himself to save others was worthy of the Shining Knight name.

This put Sasuke in a painful dilemma. By reason, he should follow Naruto's wishes and save the others — but to him, Naruto was more important. In this, Sasuke was still selfish, not bound entirely by Batman's persona.

In the end, Sasuke chose to save Naruto, but he didn't abandon the others — he passed their location to the Gotham police, asking them to rescue them.

Everything seemed fine, and by Sasuke's calculations, both sides could be saved.

But then, the Joker appeared, laughing at Batman Sasuke's stupidity and naivety — and detonated the bombs ten minutes ahead of schedule.

The result: both rescue efforts were engulfed in fire. Naruto's teammates and the Gotham police officers sent to save them were all killed. Naruto himself was shielded from the blast by Sasuke's body, but he still suffered severe burns over half his body. One side of his face was horribly scarred and twisted; the other remained intact.

This dealt a crushing psychological blow to Naruto. And at his most vulnerable, the Joker visited him in the hospital, using words and manipulation to continually provoke and taunt him — steering his pain and hatred toward Batman.

The Joker told him that if Batman hadn't broken the "rules" by involving the Gotham police in their "game," the bombs wouldn't have gone off early — so it was all Batman's fault.

This was the classic "blame the victim" tactic, deliberate psychological manipulation. Normally, Naruto wouldn't be swayed — but now, his heart was at its weakest.

Not only had he been disfigured and gravely injured, he had lost his friends, his loved ones, even his fiancée. He had lost everything.

Under the Joker's guidance, Naruto's heart twisted. At that moment, as Batman Sasuke arrived, the Joker injected Naruto with a green serum.

This serum, developed by the Joker, could partially heal Naruto's burns, allowing him to move like a healthy person while retaining his terrifying scars.

But it would also amplify the darkness in his heart.

Normally, the Shining Knight would be immune to such an effect — his heart was bright enough to resist. But with so much darkness already planted by the Joker, Naruto's fall was inevitable.

That day, in Sasuke's endless regret and anguish, another Batman villain was born — "Two-Face." His goal: to burn Gotham to the ground… and to burn Batman with it.

This utterly crushed Sasuke's hope of making Gotham better, extinguishing the light he sought in his heart.

The Joker had won this battle of wills.

And so, as the game's story neared its end, the long-hidden past was about to be revealed. Sasuke's moment of ultimate despair was approaching.

Because, in their tenth confrontation, the Joker finally removed his blindfold completely — revealing the twisted, mad face of Uchiha Itachi, proving that this Joker's true identity was Uchiha Itachi.

Yet this was only the surface. What came next was an even darker, more terrifying truth — one that nearly drove the already broken Sasuke into total madness, plunging him into the abyss to become the most fearsome Batman Who Laughs.
