Hearing this, Shindai quickly changed his mind. "Then let me go first! I'll start the attack and you guys jump in after—how about that?"
Shisui gave him a flat stare but eventually agreed. "Fine, just don't go overboard. This attack is just preparation for negotiations later—we shouldn't push too far."
Shindai raised four fingers. "I swear, I always know exactly where the limit is!"
A twitch appeared at the corner of Shisui's eye. Everyone here knew how much Shindai loved going off the rails.
Kakashi and Obito both felt their eyelids twitching—somehow, they had a feeling Sunagakure was about to suffer big time.
After arriving near Sunagakure, Shisui announced, "Use Shindai's attack as our signal to begin battle. Once he finishes his strike, we will launch a full-scale assault on Sunagakure!"
"Understood!"
Shisui turned to Shindai. "Alright, Shindai, it's your move."
The corners of Shindai's mouth nearly reached his ears as he grinned excitedly. "Just watch me!"
Shindai pulled out several scrolls and first summoned what was stored within one of them.
This wasn't a puppet—it was a turret called the [Chakra Cluster Cannon].
Next, Shindai unfurled all the other scrolls and summoned their contents too—all fully-charged chakra capacitors.
After installing the chakra capacitors into the turret, Shindai got to work adjusting its settings on the control panel.
Obito walked over beside Shindai, watching him tinker with the device. He asked curiously, "Hey Shindai, what are you doing?"
"You wouldn't get it even if I told you—just wait, you'll see soon enough!"
Once Shindai finished his setup, he operated the electronic screen.
Looking toward Sunagakure, he muttered, "Kazekage Building… That should be right over there. Let me adjust the barrel angle slightly."
Once everything was ready, Shindai's expression turned icy cold. "I hope you're inside the Kazekage Building right now."
He pressed a button. The chakra from all the capacitors surged into the cannon, and a massive ball of condensed chakra formed at the muzzle, almost solidifying into physical form.
Everyone present paled—the energy radiating from the cannon made their entire bodies shiver.
Shisui's expression changed instantly. "Wait, Shindai!"
"No way am I waiting any longer!" Shindai cackled maniacally before shouting, "FIRE!"
A colossal beam of concentrated chakra roared toward Sunagakure. Its destructive power was immense—without even touching the ground, it carved an extremely deep trench wherever it passed.
The [Chakra Cluster Cannon] blasted straight through Sunagakure's outer fortifications. Though the aim was slightly off, the Kazekage Building still sat dangerously close to the impact zone.
In an instant, everyone first saw a blinding flash of light, followed by a deafening explosion. Then came a sandstorm that kicked up massive clouds of dust, and finally a mushroom cloud rose from within Sunagakure.
Shisui, Kakashi, Obito, Asuma, and others stared in shock at the sight before them.
"Ahahaha! After all these years, do you idiots in Sunagakure even have any idea how much crap I've had to swallow? Today I'm finally getting it all off my chest!"
Shindai laughed maniacally as he adjusted his cannon's angle and fired another Chakra Cluster Cannon.
Light, explosion, sandstorm, and mushroom cloud erupted once again from Sunagakure.

Kakashi, Obito, and Asuma immediately restrained Shindai.
Struggling fiercely, Shindai couldn't break free from the grip of Kakashi, Obito, and Asuma—three strong men. He desperately stretched out his foot, trying to press the trigger for the Chakra Cluster Cannon with his toe.
Shisui and the others facepalmed collectively. They had assumed Shindai would only cause some minor damage, but they never expected him to actually want to destroy Sunagakure completely.

Grumbling, Shindai whined, "Shisui, what the hell are you doing?! You promised I could lead the attack!"
Shisui retorted loudly, "This is your idea of leading the attack? Who attacks like this?"
Shindai pouted and said, "Alright, fine. Then I'm done. You guys can go now."
Even the usually calm Shisui couldn't help but curse, "Go fight who?! Listen up—this attack was just a setup for negotiations. Now they'll have no choice but to surrender!"
Shindai mumbled, "Hey, wouldn't surrendering be great too?"
Kakashi sighed helplessly, "The balance among the Five Great Shinobi Villages isn't so simple. If Sunagakure surrenders to Konoha, it will bring even bigger trouble, Shindai."
Obito looked toward the smoke rising from the ruined Sunagakure and asked, "Then what should we do now?"
[Chakra Cluster Cannon!]
Shisui sighed. "Let's wait. They'll come to negotiate sooner or later. After such a show of force, they must be terrified of facing it again."
Chaos reigned inside the village.
Shindai fired two Chakra Cluster Cannons, triggering massive explosions that destroyed buildings and caused heavy casualties.
Everything happened too suddenly for them to try to escape.
Rasa and the others were holding a meeting inside the ninja hospital, not the Kazekage Building. If they had been in the Kazekage Building, Sunagakure's leadership would have been wiped out in one strike.
The shockwaves from those two attacks left Rasa and his group dizzy with ringing ears.
A squad of ninja rushed into the hospital, reporting the situation in Sunagakure to Rasa.
Rasa slapped his forehead hard, shaking off the daze just enough to hear the report clearly.
"Kazekage-sama, Sunagakure has suffered two devastating strikes. Two entire areas have been leveled, with severe casualties!"
Rasa, Chiyo, and Ebizō found it difficult to believe.
Could it be that Konoha never intended to negotiate at all—had they come here solely to destroy Sunagakure?
