"We'll meet again another day."
Jonathon wanted to say something, but when he met her sparkling eyes, he found himself following her lead.
Any desire to stay was replaced by the act of walking away.
Watching Jonathon's departing figure, Josh contentedly called Mollie to leave together.
"Your other brothers are all occupied for the time being, but we'll arrange a gathering in a couple of days when they're free."
"Mollie, let's go home. We need to celebrate properly!"
Mollie nodded, her heart brimming with anticipation.
It had been a long time since she last saw her brothers! In the Hays family's villa.
The spacious princess room.
Mollie quickly recalled what had happened in her last life. She remembered that there had been a mole in Josh's company recently.
That resulted in them losing a land bid and the company plummeting into a financial crisis.
Concerned, she inquired whether Josh had encountered any issues about the land bid.
Josh slightly flinched. While he had a close relationship with Mollie since childhood, it was mostly the brothers who took care of her. It was rare for her to proactively ask about his situation like this.
"You've grown up, Mollie. It's okay. Don't worry. I will try my best to secure this piece of land."
Mollie pursed her lips, unable to refrain from reminding him, "Josh, I think I saw Mr. Cole and a few executives from Kale Group dining together the other day..."
Jone Cole, a manager from Josh's company, was the spy.
And Kale Group was the main rival threatening Josh's bid this time.
A dangerous glint flashed across Josh's face at those words.
After a moment's contemplation, he smilingly looked at Mollie.
"Mollie, you've helped me big time."
With those words, he hastily bid farewell to Mollie and left the villa.
The voices faded away, leaving the room in silence.
Mollie then turned off the bright tassel lamp, switched on a gentle bedside lamp, and took her nightgown before she headed to the bathroom.
Preferring the scent of roses, she dropped a bit of rose essential oil into the bathtub and lazily reclined into it.
Amidst the misty vapour, her thoughts drifted. She mentally asked Kris how many points did she get from interacting with Jonathon today.
Kris replied, "You held hands once, so that's 50 points."
Puzzled, Mollie repeated "once" under her breath.
"Yes, Master. We don't count the duration but rather the instances."
Mollie clenched her teeth, her clear eyes narrowing in the mist.
"Alright then, the instances, right? Got it. Don't deny it when the time comes."
Kris showed an innocent and simple smile.
"Please rest assured, Master. Our system has strict evaluation criteria. We won't be careless in granting points." Mollie let out a slight sigh of relief.
At that moment, there was a sudden noise from outside the room.
Mollie's heart raced as she held her breath and listened intently to the sounds outside.
Didn't Josh assign someone to guard the entrance to her room?
And these sounds weren't like the wind... Could it be a burglar?
Mollie carefully stood up from the bathtub and swiftly grabbed a nearby towel, planning to peek through the crack of the door.
But before she could wrap the towel around herself, the bathroom door was suddenly pushed open from outside.
Mollie couldn't help but let out a scream!
When she saw who it was, her pupils widened in an instant.
"M-Mr. Hudson?"
Jonathon lightly nodded. He had originally been on his way home after the banquet, but after Mollie's public confession, he couldn't help instructing his driver to turn the car around.
He couldn't bear to be apart from her on this beautiful night.
So, unlike his usual self, he recklessly climbed in through Mollie's bedroom window.
Thinking that Mollie might be applying skincare products when he saw the bathroom door was slightly ajar, he pushed the door open.
But to his surprise, he was met with the sight of a woman changing her clothes!
He couldn't help gulping as he looked at the pristine white towel covering Mollie's upper thigh and outlining her graceful figure.
"Mr. Hudson, where are your eyes wandering?" Jonathon's gaze was direct and sincere, eliciting a teasing remark from Mollie.
"Uh, I'll wait for you outside." Jonathon hurriedly left the bathroom and headed to the open balcony.
The cold wind blew, but it couldn't quell the heat in Jonathon's heart. He then lit a cigarette.
By the time he finished three cigarettes, Mollie walked out of the bathroom while patting her hair dry. She smiled charmingly at him.
"Don't move." Mollie approached Jonathon and planted five light kisses on his lips. At the same time, she mentally reminded Kris to make sure all the points were added.
Meanwhile, Jonathon's face was flushed red. The heat that had finally subsided instantly surged up again because of Mollie.
He couldn't help wrapping his arms around Mollie before he buried his head in her nape. His voice hoarse, he murmured, "You started this, Mollie."
As soon as he said that, he took Mollie into the room and pulled the curtains shut. Mollie's heart skipped a beat.
"We can't! My brother's men are outside the door" The final syllable was swallowed by Jonathon, who then whispered, "Be good. Just bit me if it's too much for you to take."
Seeing the unmasked emotions in Jonathon's crimson eyes, Mollie finally couldn't refuse him anymore.
They spent the night entwined with each other.
Their deep and passionate connection came together in a profound and harmonious way.
Mollie remembered biting Jonathon, but she wasn't sure if she had made any sound.
When she woke up again, daylight had already broken outside.
She felt her waist encircled by powerful arms, the man's breath tantalizingly close. It was an undeniable fact that the sleeping Jonathon looked remarkably carefree and unrestrained. The way his dishevelled hair hung casually was a stark contrast to his usual stern demeanour.
While asleep, he was a gentle youth; when awake, he was a domineering tycoon.
Smiling, Mollie couldn't resist biting Jonathon's neck. In her previous life, she had been utterly blind to Jonathon, who was a rich, handsome, and loyal CEO who could easily outshine the scoundrel Corey.
