Rael lifted his hand, silently telling everyone not to speak or make a fuss. Then he turned to Marek with a firm voice, "Beta, clean up all the blood she left in the trap. Every drop of it. Don't leave a trace, or that bastard will track her here."
That "bastard" could only mean Theron.
Truthfully, I wasn't sure if cleaning up my blood and tracks would be enough to stop Theron from coming to find me. After all, he had marked me, so he could probably sense me anywhere, even if I were buried deep underground.
