[Adam staring at Merlin, opens it and words starts to appear by itself.]
Merlin can write down spells and sort out the appropriate amount of mana needed. It doesn't create it's own spells unless I think of it but this is better than not having a grimoire like book, not following the normal conventional means.
[A rat enters his room and Adam spots and grabs it. Merlin starts to release mana to cast the parasite magic on it.]
This took alot of work but, [under his room, multiple parasite rats waiting,] now I can go for the Black market with this, maybe borrow a weapon from them as well.
[A month passes as Adam continues with his church duties, planning out.]
[Mid night, in a cloak on top of the Black market roof top, Adam sits, Merlin open.]
This night will be very traumatic for anyone with a fear of rats.

Rats start to flood through a small hole to the door entrance of the Black market forcing it open with pure weight, all he'll breaks lose as people are yelling, jumping ontop the stall others running out the underground exit. Other start using potions and mana infused artifacts firing spells to try and kill the huge number of them.
Adam walks in naturally like he was always there as he scouts for anything that can be of interest. He spots a longsword, finely made and containing enchantments as well. He covers it with his cloak as still walking by taking books that are to his liking when he spots a dieing orc. He got an idea.
Minutes later the Black market hideout suddenly explodes open as an even larger orc forces itself out. It starts to rampage around in the middle of the city destroying buildings and attacking the people, roaring and all that can hear it.
Guards charge towards the scene, armed and ready to fight. The orc, charging at them like a bull knocks some off hurting them, others stabbing it's legs causing it to fall. Someone runs towards its neck and jabs right through.

"Help, hurry."
[Others gang up on the orc as it fights off most of them, swinging its arms around. This goes on for a minute before fire hit the orc on its face.]
Looking at a man in offcer uniform, using his palm to launch the spell.
"It's the the captain Owen."
[The guards started to cheer while carrying there injured brethren to away from the fight. He generated fire chains that strapped the orc to the ground without moving.]
[Owen getting closer to it to see the veins bulging blue.]
"Would you look at that, has the same look as the man from the report. This means it's made by someone."
[Suddenly it starts to expand but with Owen's quick thinking, he creates a flame barrier around the orc and it explodes but it doesn't cause any damage in the area.]

The damage around the city caused was kept to the western side though life was lost, most being from the black market and some citizens who were roaming through the night. Adam hid all the equipment he took in the cave he did the ritual before blocking the door with crushing ruble. The guards along with the captain started to investigate the black market with the thought that someone there was the cause if the incident. The church helped those who were hurt and start fixing the buildings that were destroyed.
This went on for two months but they didn't find out much other than rats in the thousands started to charge in. Things went silent and everything went to normal as it could be.
Three years later when Adam turned thirteen, the labyrinth was conquered by the mercenary group venom wolves. They earned enough wealth to make a headquarters near the capital leaving free city. This was celebrated before they left with there crew.
The church got a new father, a kind hearted man that was sent by the apostle. This brought in more money to the church helping those in the slums later becoming a holy day. The city came to be more prosperous earning even more money for construction.
Soon time passes and Adam turns into an adult.

[In the father's office.]
"Adam my child, you have grown to a wonderful young adult."
"It's all thanks to your guidance and kindness sir."
He slightly chuckles. "Humble as well, but I know you carried this place the other father ran away, that enough shows your kind doing and generosity, [as he opens his drawer and pulls out his and Sigurd birth certificate.] But now it is time to make a name for yourself.
[Gives him the certificates.]
"And send my regards to sig, he may not show it but he has a kind heart. He still follows you well, you both seem like brothers to the rest."
"I will take care of him, and may you remain in good health father."
[Adam leaves his office as father sees him leave out the main gate with Sigurd through the window.]
"Hey Adam, did you get what it."
"Yea, now we're citizens of the kingdom, now let's go get the stuff and go."
They walk all the way to that cave he collapsed in.
"Sig, can you punch it."
Sighs. "Fine."
Sigurd gets into a stance, his whole arm starting to release aura. He lands a perfect hit opening up the cave entrance.
"First stage of aura and your strong enough do this, you need to give me a medal for my training. "
"I did all the work and don't think I forgot the amount of times my bones were shattered by you. The cruelty Adam, the cruelty. "
"Yea, yea. [As he enters in all the way to the loot.] Let just go get what we came here for."
[The arrive were three small backs, gold, silver and copper coins are kept and well as the sword he stole from the black market was. He gives him the sword.]
"Here, will go through a place that teaches basic swordsmanship that will help you. It will cost us but its for your benefit. "
"And you, can't let you do nothing."
"Don't worry, I got things to do. Don't worry yourself with it."
