"We would like to announce the engagement between Arthur and Aya."
The engagement party was bustling with people, many of whom held fearsome titles. However, in this setting, they appeared just like ordinary individuals, chatting and laughing. Among them, one person remarked, "I heard Aya Starlight is one of the most beautiful women. She's kind and caring, or so they say."
Another replied, "Yeah, I've heard that too. That guy is really lucky to be with someone like her. But I've heard he's changed."
"Well, he has changed, but where's the proof?" the first person questioned.
"Yeah, you're right," came the agreement.
Their conversation turned mostly to Arthur and Aya as the party continued.
"The young master of Morningstar and the young miss have arrived!" announced someone as the door swung open. Arthur and Aya entered the room, hand in hand. One had long red hair and striking red eyes, exuding confidence with an unreadable expression. The other had long golden hair and captivating golden eyes, beaming with charm.
As they walked in, the crowd quickly surrounded them, offering congratulations. Some were there for personal gain, while others were motivated by appearances.
In the background, two men observed the gathering.
"Looks like our kids have grown up, right, Noah?" one man said.
Noah glanced at his son and then back at the crowd. "Yeah, you're right."
Fray continued, noticing Noah's serious demeanor. "You don't need to be so hard on him. Look at him; he's grown into a man. He's one of the most talented; his core has turned red in just one month."
He added, "My daughter reached core red now she is in final stages, but your son achieved it much faster. My daughter did it in a year after awakening, while your son awakened only a month ago."
Noah turned to Fray, intrigued. "How do you know all of this?"
At that, Fray touched his eyes and replied, "My eyes tell me."
"Now I remember; you do have that ability. And stop looking at my son's core like that. More importantly, we have guests."
"Yes, we certainly do. Let's welcome that emotionless guy," Fray said.
