He stared at Sephiroth, his eyes blazing with anger. "I hate it most when someone interrupts my drink!"
Kaido swung his club, creating dozens of wind slashes. "Evil Wind!"
Sephiroth countered with "Hell Dragon Slash," releasing a fire dragon that swallowed Kaido. All the wine in the bar was set on fire.
BOOM!
Kaido, trapped in the sea of flames, went berserk. He roared and attacked Sephiroth again. Their fight became intense once more.
Rustle!
Suddenly, a black figure shot across the sky. The Calamity King, one of the All-Stars of the Beast Pirates.
Damn it! Why is he here? Sephiroth thought. King's presence made the situation unfavorable. If Kaido was pushed, King could launch a sneak attack.
Sephiroth used the clash of their club and sword to flap his wings, creating a distance from Kaido. He opened a dimensional door, ready to flee.
I won't fight him! Sephiroth thought. He then entered the dimension.
Kaido and King were surprised. They activated their Kenbunshoku Haki to search for Sephiroth, but found nothing.
King, after a few minutes, asked, "Brother Kaido, did he run away?"
Kaido snorted. "Hmph! I knew that all along!"
Kaido then transformed into a giant dragon and flew toward Wano. King followed him.
A few hours later, when the Marines arrived, they only found total destruction on Pollock Atoll.
Dressrosa, "Red Rose" Hotel.
With the help of his bats, Sephiroth opened a dimensional door, emerged, and arrived in his living room. He activated his Kenbunshoku Haki and realized the girls were no longer there.
"They must be out playing," he mumbled, taking off his dirty coat and changing.
He took the Transponder Snail, ordering food from room service. After fighting all night, he was mentally, not physically, exhausted. He needed a good meal and a good night's sleep.
Not long after, the doorbell rang. He opened the door and saw a waiter with a food trolley. Sephiroth immediately took the trolley and closed the door.
He placed all the food—black pepper steak, seafood soup, cheese lobster, and a bottle of red wine—on the table.
He began to eat, thinking about his next plan. With his mastery of Haoshoku Haki, he was on par with a Yonko. But he had to admit, he was still below Kaido in terms of strength and Haki. If the fight had continued, he could have lost.
"If I want to kill Kaido, the safest way is not to fight him directly," he mumbled, sipping his red wine.
Suddenly, the door opened.
Sephiroth turned and saw Perona, Iska, Kuina, Uta, and behind them… Scarlett and Violet.
Damn it! I've been caught!
