Chapter 154 - Chapter 154: Potion

The Next Day.

Sabaody Archipelago, Island 41.

Tree birds chirped merrily, poking their heads into damp tree holes searching for food. In a three-story villa, in a second-floor bedroom, Sephiroth let out a soft sigh, opening his sleepy eyes. He saw a girl with long, straight black hair sitting on him.

Boa Hancock, blushing, whispered softly to him, "Good morning, Sephiroth~!"

"Morning, Hancock," he replied, turning slightly to see Boa Sandersonia and Boa Marigold still sound asleep on the left side. The two women slept very soundly, with no signs of waking up.

Chirp! Tweet!

Perona snorted softly, froze, then fell into his arms, unwilling to move.

"Heh heh! Morning! Sephiroth," she said cheerfully, poking her head out from behind Hancock, greeting him with a wide smile. Then she stuck out her tongue, licking the corners of her lips.

"Morning, Perona!"

As soon to gently lower Hancock from his embrace, Perona immediately pounced. It took him over half an hour to get out of bed, get dressed, fasten two long knives, and go down to the first floor. He glanced at the clock on the wall, eight forty. It was time for work.

Sephiroth then went to the living room, opened the iron cage in the cabinet, and took out the bloody bat inside. After separating enough black bats to form a Bat-Clone entangled with blood bats, he punched a Dimensional Door and sent the Bat-Clone to the commander's office at the Sabaody Marine Base. Meanwhile, he himself headed to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, took out ingredients, and prepared breakfast.

Daily work could be handled by the Bat-Clone. Except for some important matters or emergencies, he didn't need to go to the Marine Base in person every day. Otherwise, he wouldn't have leisure time to do other things. In his daily routine, Sephiroth basically studied, tempered swords, practiced swordsmanship, and occasionally took care of the newly developed Umbrella Company's affairs. Beyond that, his free time was spent accompanying his sisters.

Happy and satisfying every day! This was what a winner in life was called, wasn't it?

Sephiroth mused on that while rapidly stir-frying seafood fried noodles in the pan. An enticing aroma immediately filled the dining room from the kitchen. Without Sephiroth realizing it, Boa Sandersonia was already standing by his side, swallowing and staring straight at the shrimp and oysters continuously frying in the pot. A sincere emotion escaped her lips.

"So delicious!"

"Hungry! Just grab some and eat first!" Sephiroth chuckled. "Anyway, one pan definitely won't be enough for you guys..." He served the ready seafood fried noodles onto a large plate.

"Okay! Then you're welcome!" Sandersonia cheered, giving Sephiroth a quick hug, then tasted the fried noodles. She turned, quickly left the kitchen, and ate in the dining room.

After a quick cold shower in the bathroom, Hancock went to the kitchen. She took a moment to observe Sephiroth on the road, learning how he cooked. She made four consecutive pans of seafood fried noodles, estimating it would be enough for all five of them. Then she left the kitchen and sat at the dining table.

Perona, wearing a black silk nightgown with her long pink hair casually draped over her shoulders, placed the World Economic News, which she had picked up from in front of the villa, on the table beside her.

"Sephiroth, here's today's newspaper!"

"Thank you!"

As he opened the newspaper, his gaze immediately fell on the front page: a bearded Fish-Man's face, and related news.

"Shocked! Fisher Tiger climbed barehanded to the holy land of Mary Geoise, setting fires everywhere, and releasing thousands of the world aristocrats, Tenryuubito's slaves."

Boa Marigold, who was sitting to Sephiroth's left, chewed the fried noodles in her mouth, leaned over and glanced at the contents of the newspaper. "Wow! This Fish-Man, how dare he do such a thing. This is incredible!"

"He's definitely going to be hated by those Tenryuubito people, right?" the orange-haired girl said vaguely.

"Hmm! Since Fisher Tiger did it, he's been put on the assassination list by the World Government," Sephiroth nodded gently. After roughly scanning the contents of the World Economic News, he began to eat the seafood fried noodles on his plate.

After Hancock finished all the food on her plate, she put down her chopsticks, picked up the glass of milk in front of her, and drank it all. Only then did she look at her two younger sisters and remind them:

"Sandersonia, Marigold, wait a moment, we're going to sea. Have you two packed your luggage? Don't leave anything behind...."

"Mine's been sorted ages ago!" Sandersonia giggled.

Hearing that, Marigold emptied herself and stood up, then suddenly realized. "Erm!?..... Oops, I'm out of skincare!"

"I have to hurry and buy some."

As if remembering something, the orange-haired girl immediately pulled the silver-haired youth's left hand and shook it. She said coquettishly:

"Sephiroth, would you open the door for me?"

"I'm going to the highway on Island 45."

"There's really nothing I can do about you...." Sephiroth muttered. He put down his chopsticks, stood up, pulled the Butcher Knife from his waist, and opened a Dimensional Door. He glanced at Marigold beside him, who was wearing a fuchsia T-shirt and brown shorts, without a wallet. To prevent her from causing trouble, he took the wallet from his pants pocket and handed it to the orange-haired girl.

"Heh heh! Wait a minute, remember to open the door for me again later."

Saying so, Marigold kissed Sephiroth's cheek then turned and walked quickly through the Dimensional Door.

After closing the door, Sephiroth suddenly remembered something.

"Hancock, I've recently developed a fast-healing potion. When you go to sea, take it with you."

He opened the Dimensional Door again, entered it towards the underground laboratory on Island 50 to retrieve the vampire bats he used for research. After a while, he emerged with a large suitcase. He placed it on the table and opened it. Inside, a hundred glass medicine bottles were neatly arranged with light yellow liquid, each about ten milliliters.

"That's..."

"I used my blood, diluted a hundred times, as a drug to make a special healing drug called Life Boost Agent."

"As long as this liquid is injected into the body, it can quickly treat internal and external injuries, and its efficacy is even better than Life Return."

"Of course, it's fine to take it orally, but the effect is slightly worse, roughly equivalent to Life Return, and it doesn't taste good either."

"This agent, within twenty-four hours, can only be used once, during which time a second injection has no effect."

"Also, this agent has the side effect of drastically consuming energy in the body after injection."

Sephiroth explained. He developed this agent after discovering that his own blood had an extremely powerful healing effect. After three years of intermittent research, he successfully created this potion! The Life Boost Agent allowed the injector to have passive healing abilities even better than Life Return within thirty minutes. Even after thirty minutes, within a day, the injector still possessed excellent self-healing abilities, which might be only one step weaker than Life Return!

Imagine if you were shot on the battlefield or sliced by a sword, you immediately get an injection, and the injuries will be more than half healed in a very short time. Wait until the next day, and it will be 70-80% recovered, a truly terrifying effect! However, due to the raw material using his blood and the difficulty of its manufacture, it was impossible for this drug to be mass-produced. After all, for every hundred Life Boost Agents, ten milliliters of his blood were needed! Unless he treated himself as a "blood bag" and bled every day, this potion could only be produced on a small scale.

However, if he was willing to be a little "cruel" to himself occasionally and produce 10,000 Life Boost Agents every day, he could still do it! After all, taking a thousand milliliters of blood in a day, with his strong physical fitness, was fine occasionally. Sephiroth was preparing to officially market the Life Boost Agent in the near future and sell it as a high-end medical drug, thereby truly building a reputation for the newly developed pharmaceutical industry of the Umbrella Company!

"Heh heh! Sephiroth, you've produced a really powerful potion," Hancock didn't refuse the potent medicine he brought out, and she immediately took the suitcase with a smile on her face. "With it, my crew can recover quickly, even if they are injured in battle."
