Such agile and mobile enemies, once they see the situation turning unfavorable and start fleeing, there's no way to catch up with them.
When exterminating the Blood Wolves initially, Austin had to use the strategy of trapping them in to deal with the Blood Wolves. In hindsight, if the Centaur Clan had been used back then, there would have been no need to waste strategies on those beasts.
Austin had long considered establishing a cavalry force. After exterminating the Blood Wolves, he once obtained several Blood Wolf cubs. Now these cubs had grown somewhat, but establishing a Wolf Cavalry force still seemed far off due to their insufficient numbers.
