Chapter 11 - Chapter 10: Magic Beast Crystal Core

Roar!!!

Blood splattered violently, and the intense pain surged from its back, driving the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader mad. Strands of black Magic Power emanated from its body, letting out a terrifying howl that created a gust of airwaves, causing the withered leaves on the ground to whirl upwards, while the surrounding trees rustled and bent downwards.

The Kobolds, having finally managed to stand up in the distance, faced this sonic impact completely unprepared, as if confronting a tidal wave, causing them to involuntarily stumble backwards and fall to the ground.

But it wasn't over yet; the unprecedented pain had already drowned out the scarce rationality of the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader.

Bang bang bang!

The continuous booming sounded like rolling thunder as the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader kept slamming the ground, which shattered and cracked like tofu, causing a series of violent tremors and a torrent of dust to rise.

Watching this terrifying scene, the Kobolds in the distance could no longer enter the battlefield.

The Ghost-headed Crocodile leader thrashed violently, attempting to shake the Blue Young Dragon off its back, but to no avail.

The crocodile's body joints prevented it from twisting its tail or striking its back with its joints, which meant it had no means of threatening an enemy on its back.

At this moment, the Blue Young Dragon, with its two dragon claws gripping the spine of the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader, thrust its ferocious head out and bite down hard on its neck.

Meanwhile,

Crackle!

On the surface of the Blue Young Dragon's ghostly blue Scale Armor, arcs of electricity suddenly flashed, sparkling in the air. Electric currents traversed along Austin's body, surged into the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader, immediately causing deep tremors and paralysis, making its entire body tremble.

Electric Shock Paralysis,

This was the first Talent Magic Austin awakened a year ago, and to this day, the only Magic he had mastered.

This talent seemed weak, but in reality, Austin's phenomenal growth in height within just two years was not unrelated to him using this Talent Magic to exercise and stimulate his physical growth.

At this moment, this Talent Magic also became a powerful means to deal with the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader.

Roar!!!

Under the old wound, there were new injuries. After successive heavy blows, the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader was utterly deranged.

It crazily slammed the ground, its madness even breaking through the paralysis caused by the electric current, with massive Power making the entire forest feel like it was going through an earthquake, the ground cracking wide open like a spider web, and it charged wildly like an uncontrollable heavy truck.

Crack crack...

Trees were successively smashed and fell, trunks broke, sending wood chips flying, and enormous dust clouds swept up.

However, this was merely the last burst of madness from the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader.

Sure enough, after smashing through three large trees in succession, the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader was utterly exhausted, all its strength pouring out like a flood, staggering two more steps before it finally could no longer support its body and collapsed with a thunderous crash.

All the while, the Blue Young Dragon remained firmly pinned to the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader's back, unmoving.

Seeing that the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader's life force had vanished, Austin didn't immediately release his hold, but instead waited several minutes to ensure it was truly dead before loosening his jaws and claws.

"Your Highness Austin, are you alright?"

At this time, the Kobold leader Vini ran over, enduring the discomfort in his body, and looked at the lifeless Giant Beast under Austin's feet, his eyes still lingering with residual fear.

"I'm fine, you did very well."

The first time he encountered these Kobolds, they were timid and cowardly, but after these months of transformation, they had already become a competent army.

In facing such ferocious enemies, they were not intimidated, instead organizing two counterattacks and courageously facing such a formidable opponent.

If it were other Kobolds in this world, likely, they would have scattered and fled the moment they saw the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader.

"The seed has been planted."

Glancing at the Kobold leader Vini beside him, Austin thought silently.

In the future, when more Clan members are gathered, with these Kobolds at the core, continually driving the training forward, it will definitely be possible to build an invincible army with iron discipline.

Of course, that will probably be something for a long time to come.

The Blue Young Dragon turned its attention back to the corpse of the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader in front of him and felt a faint stirring in his heart towards the corpse.

A desire, a desire to devour.

After pondering for a moment, the Blue Young Dragon extended its sharp teeth towards the Ghost-headed Crocodile leader's head, pressing down with its massive dragon claws, then suddenly yanked upwards, and the head of the Ghost-headed Crocodile was ripped apart like a rag.

"Is this..."

Inside the bloody head, a sphere the size of a ping-pong ball, resembling a gel-like solid, gleamed with a dark luster, with strands of Magic Power diffusing and turning into wisps of black mist.

"A Magic Beast Crystal Core? No, it's only a Crystal Core Prototype. This creature was about to condense into a real Magic Power Crystal!" Austin's eyes flashed with a trace of astonishment, along with a hint of excitement.

From the inherited memories, he learned that in this world, Magic Beasts are broadly divided into nine levels based on the extent of Magic Power in their bodies.

And among Magic Beasts of the same level, combat capability varies, and those that can form Crystal Cores are invariably top-tier monsters among the same level of Magic Beasts.

Based on the estimation of the Magic Power within this Ghost-headed Crocodile leader, it was at roughly the second level range, but if its Core matured completely, it might awaken Talent Magic, its combat strength potentially rising directly to the level of a third-tier Magic Beast.

Of course, to Austin, it didn't matter whether this Ghost-headed Crocodile advanced; what mattered was that this Crystal Core represented extremely rare Magic Power Resources.

And the growth of the Dragon Race during its juvenile stage requires the consumption of massive amounts of Magic Power resources!

Without a moment's hesitation, the Blue Young Dragon picked up the unripe Crystal Core and swallowed it whole.

Boom!!!

At the moment the Crystal Core Prototype entered the Blue Young Dragon's stomach, the Dragon Race's powerful digestive capability immediately broke down the Magic Crystal, releasing a torrent of Magic Power that coursed through its body along the blood vessels.

Roar!!!

At that moment, Austin felt as though there was a molten mass flowing within his stomach, and the intense pain made him roar involuntarily.

Meanwhile, as that torrent of Magic Power coursed throughout his body, entering each cell, the Blue Young Dragon's aura soared ever higher, creating a whirlwind on the ground.

At the same time,

Crackle!

Arcs of electricity danced around his body, crackling noisily, like hundreds of birds chattering simultaneously...
