Isaac Island.
This is Duncan's final stop in his conquest of the South Islands. There's no proper kingdom here, just a group of indigenous people who make a living by fishing. However, it's considered an important freshwater supply point, and it was once plagued by a mythical beast that, upon being slain, corrupted the land. It's also the only island where nearly half the terrain is desert.
"Isaac?"
"The name sounds somewhat familiar."
Duncan stepped onto the semi-desert island. Behind him, Witch Gleya softly said, "This place worships the Philistine's Main God, Dagon."
"Although His faith has weakened considerably, it's not to be underestimated either."
Hmm?
Dagon?
The name felt even more familiar.
Duncan turned his head to glance at Gleya beside him and asked, "Isn't Dagon the legendary demon?"
Witch Gleya replied softly, "That's just a distorted rumor."
"He was originally one of the Main Gods of the Semites."
