In the morning, Mason Nightshade picked up the rabbit and tossed it onto the bed, his tone somewhat like coaxing a child, "Play with it for a while before getting up."
Was he worried she'd get bored?
Did she have no dignity in front of the rabbit?
Mason watched the variety of expressions on Aurelia Shaw's face; in just this short moment, she had already switched through several. He smiled indulgently.
He bent down and took something out from the drawer.
"Do you want me to apply it for you, or will you do it yourself?" he asked her.
Aurelia glanced at the item, her face instantly turning a bit red. She grabbed it from his hand, really, he had no shame!
Mason chuckled indulgently, went to the bathroom to wash a towel, squatted by the bed, cleaned her hands, went back to wash the towel clean, and placed it on the bedside cabinet.
Looking at her, he said, "Wipe your hands after you're done applying."
"What if I don't wipe my hands?" Aurelia deliberately retorted.
