"No," Mason Nightshade replied.
"Really," Aurelia Shaw muttered to herself, "Last time, when I was chatting with Junia Simpson, she seemed to have someone she likes."
"Mm." Mason Nightshade answered lightly, showing no interest in these matters.
Aurelia suddenly looked at him, "That person isn't you, is it?"
"Are you jealous?" Mason Nightshade raised an eyebrow. If she was jealous, he wouldn't mind giving her the answer.
Aurelia glanced at him, "Just asking casually. You don't have to tell me."
How could Mason Nightshade bear to let her misunderstand? Not to mention being willing, he even feared she might have a slight misunderstanding about him. Her trust in him was as thin as a sheet of paper; even a little more would make him cherish it dearly.
"It's not me."
Those three words were very gentle.
But Mason Nightshade looked into Aurelia's eyes and repeated each word again, "It's not me."
