Seeing her walk in, Mason Nightshade followed right after, tilting his head to whisper an order to Gustavo Yates, "Handle it."
Gustavo Yates nodded.
He turned back, looking at Alice Bell with a hint of sympathy.
Probably scared out of her wits by the boss's aura, Alice Bell was still frozen there, not yet coming back to her senses.
Gustavo Yates shook his head.
No wonder she'd never become popular; she just court's her own downfall. She could crash anywhere, but she just had to crash into the boss's line of fire, and so hard too.
As soon as Aurelia Shaw went in, she was pulled aside by Mr. Zhao to discuss inviting her to star in a film. When Mason Nightshade entered, he didn't see her, so his gaze swept around the hall.
She was easy to find; she was always the most dazzling one.
Fixing his gaze, Mason Nightshade walked over and saw a young man standing opposite her. He didn't know what they were talking about, but Aurelia Shaw curved her lips into a smile.
