Mason Nightshade's eyes darkened.
Stephen Leigh shivered from the cold, hurriedly stubbed out his cigarette, and caught a glimpse of Aurelia Shaw's furrowed brow relaxing. Suddenly, he got it! It was all for his wife again, tormenting the single folks.
"Your ten-shot scores were 10.7, 10.3, 1., 610.7, 10.71, 10.75, 10.8, 10.81, 10.89, 10.3, totaling 103.86 points, whereas Aurelia Shaw's ten-shot score totaled 94.63 points," Knox slowly interjected.
"Doesn't that mean I won?" Raymond Cooper remarked.
Knox squinted his eyes slightly, "Before the competition, you agreed to spare one shot to Aurelia Shaw, so her score of 94.63 is actually increased by 10 points, beating you by one point."
Raymond Cooper couldn't believe it, snatched the record book, and meticulously tallied the scores multiple times, each time arriving at the same result.
He desperately ruffled his hair.
"Mason Nightshade, is your wife an alien? How could a rookie achieve such a score!"
