As soon as Mason Nightshade finished speaking, Aurelia Shaw couldn't help but yawn. Her eyes were rimmed with red, and a misty allure filled her almond-shaped eyes, enchanting in her beauty.
Before she could react, Mason had already lifted her into his arms, striding upstairs with large steps.
"Hey, Mason!" Sophie Nye, seeing that he truly wasn't speaking to her, finally couldn't hold back. She caught up to block him, her face clouded as she said in a deep voice, "Getting more and more out of line. Seeing your mother without even a simple greeting."
Then she turned to Aurelia, "What's this manner of conduct? It's not like you can't walk, yet at home you let your husband carry you. How improper it looks! You are Mason's wife, your duty is to take care of Mason, not to have Mason distracted by taking care of you. Come down at once."
Aurelia didn't move and instead looked at Mason, lazily and sleepily blinking her eyes, signaling him to solve it quickly.
