"Foster? So you really are from the future," Dr. Thomas said.
"Tell me everything," Ron replied.
Dr. Thomas folded his hands behind his back.
"Foster's origin is still shrouded in mystery, but its roots go back a very long time. Its creator was a man named George. He founded it to help the poor and the helpless. George himself was an orphan, and he despised the cruelty of society."
Ron listened silently.
"George believed in one simple idea," Dr. Thomas continued. "Everyone is human, and everyone deserves equal treatment. He hated how the poor were looked down upon while the rich controlled everything with money."
"He was right," Ron said.
"Yes, he was," Dr. Thomas nodded. "When George first created the organization, it wasn't called Foster. It was called Roster. The name Foster came much later, given by his successors."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Back then, George used Roster to bring real change. He created a system in his small town where everyone had equal rights and fair opportunities. The system worked. It spread from town to town… until eventually it covered the entire country. People admired him. His ideology was loved by the masses."
Dr. Thomas fell silent for a moment.
Ron frowned slightly.
"What happened after that?"
"The rich happened," Dr. Thomas replied coldly. "They hated George and everything he stood for."
"They tried to assassinate him many times, but every attempt failed. Eventually, they decided to destroy him from the inside."
Ron's eyes widened.
"They infiltrated Roster," Dr. Thomas continued. "Soon it became the most successful organization of that era."
He took a deep breath.
"That's when the rich began their true plan. They spread rumors about George's wife… and created false accusations."
"Fake evidence?" Ron asked. "Pictures? Videos?"
"No," Dr. Thomas shook his head. "Witnesses."
"Witnesses from people close to George's family. In return, they were rewarded handsomely."
Ron clenched his fists.
"The lies worked. George and his wife began fighting constantly. Their relationship fell apart… and one day, his wife took her own life."
Dr. Thomas' voice lowered.
"George was already standing on the edge of a cliff mentally. Her death pushed him over."
Ron looked down.
"George had three sons. Two of them abandoned him and blamed him for their mother's death for the rest of his life."
"Except for the eldest."
Ron's expression softened with sadness.
"As I said, George completely lost his mind after that. Meanwhile, Roster was now being run by the rich men who had infiltrated it."
Dr. Thomas continued.
"They created eight powerful positions just below the head of the organization. Even the head could not act without a majority vote from them."
"At that time, George had become completely broken. He talked to himself… harmed himself… even ate pieces of his own flesh. Every day he blamed himself for his wife's death."
Dr. Thomas closed his eyes briefly.
"And one day… George was found hanging from the ceiling of his house."
Ron's teeth clenched.
"Those rich bastards."
"But that was when his eldest son, Mathew, took control," Dr. Thomas said.
"In the beginning, Mathew was just a puppet controlled by the other eight leaders."
"But one day, everything changed."
Dr. Thomas continued.
"Mathew had a maid who had been very close to his mother. She was the one who had secretly leaked private information about George's wife—their arguments, personal documents, secrets… everything."
Ron frowned.
"One day, the maid confessed everything to Mathew."
"And then?" Ron asked.
"Mathew ordered her to surrender herself to him," Dr. Thomas said. "And she did."
"After that… Mathew burned her body until nothing remained."
Ron was silent for a moment.
"Why did she confess?"
"Perhaps guilt," Dr. Thomas replied. "Or perhaps revenge against the people who forced her to betray the woman she respected."
"If George's wife was like a mother to her… why did she betray her in the first place?" Ron asked.
"Blackmail," Dr. Thomas answered.
"The maid had a family living far away. The rich men kidnapped them and used them as hostages. She was forced to obey their orders."
He paused.
"And even after she did everything they asked… they still killed her family."
Ron's jaw tightened.
"Mathew was ruthless after learning the truth," Dr. Thomas continued. "He hunted down every single conspirator. One by one… he tore them apart."
"He seized absolute control of the organization."
"That day, he changed the rules."
"The First Head would now have absolute authority. If any of the other leaders wanted to take action, they would have to convince the First Head. The old voting system was destroyed."
"From that day forward… the First Head ruled everything."
Ron crossed his arms.
"Then why is Foster evil now?"
"Because of time," Dr. Thomas replied.
"What do you mean?"
"Mathew ruled for about five years, but his reputation became terrifying. No one dared challenge him or his successors. For centuries, people feared Roster simply because of the legends surrounding Mathew."
"But eventually, his successors changed."
"They became lazy. Arrogant. Obsessed with wealth and pleasure. They wasted money, chased women, and lived luxurious lives."
"When people saw them, they couldn't believe these men belonged to the same ruthless organization."
Dr. Thomas sighed.
"So just like centuries before, history repeated itself."
"But this time… Roster truly fell into the hands of evil."
"How?" Ron asked quietly.
"Remember George had three sons," Dr. Thomas said.
"After George's death, Mathew invited his brothers to return."
"But the youngest brother had already died from starvation."
Ron looked shocked.
"The second brother, Theodore, blamed himself for it. As penance, he swore loyalty to Mathew. He declared that his descendants would forever serve Mathew's bloodline."
"And for centuries, they kept that promise."
"But over time… jealousy began to grow in Theodore's descendants."
"They envied Mathew's bloodline."
"They planned for years."
"And finally… they slaughtered every last descendant of Mathew."
Ron slowly realized what happened.
"They took control of Roster," Dr. Thomas finished.
"And renamed it… Foster."
"That was when they began using its vast resources to secretly control the world from the shadows."
Silence filled the room.
Ron sighed quietly.
"So much tragedy… all because of jealousy."
