Lin Yi walked along the noisy street, but this time the women didn't pay him any attention.
They knew he wouldn't take the bait again on the same day.
However, the food vendors didn't let him off, as most men would buy some food after coming out of the women's house.
"Fried fish, fresh catch of the day! I swear, it's delicious! Only ten coins!" A scrawny old man persistently said.
"Hmm... alright, why not?" Lin Yi chuckled, pulling out a large handful of various coins from his pocket.
He counted out ten and handed them to the old man.
"Thank you very much, enjoy your meal!" The old man said with a deep bow.
"Hmm... not bad."
It was a small fish, barely over two ounces, but well-cooked and sprinkled with herbs.
He didn't finish the fish, just took a few bites before tossing it away, but the fish didn't hit the ground.
Someone caught it in midair and began wolfing down the remaining parts as other vagrants like him ran over, trying to grab the fish.
