Wu Jingjing came out of the bathroom and couldn't see Bai Yiran. She walked out of the room and saw Xiao Lang standing at the door with a smile.
"Good morning, sister!" Xiao Lang greeted Wu Jingjing in his childish voice.
Wu Jingjing looked around and finally turned to the much shorter Xiao Lang, "Little guy, where's your mom?"
Xiao Lang giggled and pointed to Bai Yiran's bedroom, "Mom and Dad are in the bedroom. I was eavesdropping at the door just now!"
"What did you overhear?" Wu Jingjing asked.
"Um..." Xiao Lang tilted his head, thinking seriously, "Dad said he spent the night at the gym last night... Mom said Dad's strange, why he didn't sleep in a bed and such. Then, I couldn't hear them anymore; I guess they moved away from the door, so the sound got quieter!"
Wu Jingjing looked towards Bai Yiran's bedroom, a hint of sadness flashing in her eyes.
