A group of undead villagers knelt all around, and Su Ziyu could see several corpses hanging upside down. These villagers seemed to have not heard the battle outside, continuing to kneel before the tree in endless worship. Their clothing, decayed and tattered, clung to their bodies, and it was unclear how long they had been kneeling here, with some even covered in thick dust.

Su Ziyu approached step by step. Despite the deliberate sound of his footsteps, the villagers kneeling before the great tree were entirely oblivious, seemingly ignoring everything else around them.

The mass of undead in front of them remained unresponsive, some even allowing themselves to be killed while their cloudy, dry eyes remained fixed on the large tree ahead.
