Within the vampires of the City of Freedom, there are three factions. The first faction is the Moderate Faction, where Lady Anirella belongs. They are vampires relatively friendly to humans, and some even help humans selflessly. Van Helsing managed to find the imprisoned Melissa back then because of Lady Anirella's help. The second is the Neutral Faction vampires, who still maintain the tradition of bloodsucking but believe they shouldn't easily take human lives. These vampires try to raise humans in captivity, and some human villages are secretly under their control. A few vampires arrange themselves to have the identity of a Noble Lord.
The last is the Traditionalist Faction of vampires.
