Olivia hesitated for a moment, recalling Beatrice's smile, and finally said, "Fine, I will do my best to help you!"
Only then did Louis reveal a satisfied smile.
He leaned in close to the little swan's ear and began to explain the effect of the Crown of Desire. The little swan's eyes widened, and she angrily punched his chest:
"Do you think I'm an idiot?"
Louis steeled himself, flipping over to pin the little swan beneath him once more, quietly locking eyes with her clear yet slightly reddened eyes.
After a few seconds, Olivia instinctively avoided his gaze.
"Are you sure you're not just lusting after my body?"
Louis feigned disdain and said, "Too skinny, like a little girl. Haven't you eaten properly these past two years?"
Olivia grew angrier, waving her fist as if she were about to hit him.
