Kenneth Osborne covered his mouth, yawned, and said with a faint smile, "When starting a business, you have to do everything personally. When Mr. Spencer starts from scratch, he'll understand how I feel."
This was almost like saying Spring Spencer was being oblivious to the real challenges while standing and talking.
But Spring Spencer wasn't angry at all. Instead, she readily admitted her shortcomings, "I'm really not as good as Mr. Osborne in that regard. Honestly, the Spencer Group losing such a great general as Mr. Osborne last year was truly their loss. But for Mr. Osborne, the benefits outweigh the losses, which is a good thing."
"Not many people know what they want to do right after graduating from college."
Kenneth Osborne thought to himself, at the time, it was because the Spencer Group was suppressing Lawrence Winters that he left that job. It wasn't that he knew what he wanted at the time.
It was later that he realized what he truly wanted to do.
