At the back tables sat members of the Wei Family and the Tian Family, also people of considerable influence in this generation. Zheng Qiwai was at the second table, sitting with Wei Zhongyuan and others from the Wei Family.
The Wei and Tian families occupied roughly three tables. Further back, executives from state-owned enterprises occupied about a table and a half, and the remaining were filled by presidents and chairmen from various companies.
Luo Xuhua and Shao Simin did not receive any special treatment despite their relationship with Beisitian; their table was around the seventh. This left Shao Simin somewhat displeased, considering they were Beisitian's brother-in-law and sister-in-law. This seemed too far removed!
Despite her displeasure, Shao Simin did not dare to throw a tantrum in such a setting, choosing instead to suppress her annoyance, thinking that she should ask Beisitian afterward if she was unaware of their attendance.
