Just as they stepped out the main gate, Lin Qianxuan and Gongsun Yue spotted Gongsun Ying patiently waiting not far away.
The three exchanged glances, their expressions subtly complex.
Eventually, it was Gongsun Ying who stepped forward and asked Gongsun Yue, whom Lin Qianxuan was supporting, "Yue'Er, are you okay?"
How could Gongsun Yue respond?
Her face reddened slightly as she replied, "Sister, I'm fine."
Gongsun Ying, having been through much herself, understood the situation with a single glance and avoided further mention of it, opting instead to take Gongsun Yue from Lin Qianxuan's hands.
"Young Master Lin, let's return," Gongsun Ying suggested.
"Alright," Lin Qianxuan nodded, then added, "By the way, Miss Ying, do you still have the Wanxiang with you?"
"I do," Gongsun Ying nodded.
"Please give it to me. I believe I can activate it now," Lin Qianxuan said.
Without hesitation, Gongsun Ying took the Wanxiang from the pouch at her waist and handed it to Lin Qianxuan.
