During the high-profile battle between the Heat and the Knights on the night of the 12th, ABC TV's reporter stirred things up once again by posing that question to Shaquille O'Neal.
"Shaq, do you now think that Messiah deserves Jovan Buha's praise?"
Seeing this, O'Neal immediately halted what he perceived as an absurd interview.
However, both Wade and James offered their assessments of Qin Yue's single-game 71-point performance.
Wade described, "Qin's achievements in his rookie season have shocked me. He is now like a larger version of Kobe Bryant."
James commented, "Without a doubt, he held an unprecedented coronation ceremony in Los Angeles. I hope that one day, I too can receive more praise like him, instead of criticism."
Though the Knights are expected to achieve 50 wins in the regular season this season, James has been subject to much criticism lately.
As to the reason?
Of course, because comparisons are odious.
