Along the way, Bao Nan held Jiang Tong's hand, humming a song like a boastful elementary school student.
Jiang Tong looked at him with a mix of amusement and disbelief, "Bao Nan, what's up with you?"
What had gotten into him?
Why had Bao Nan become so peculiar lately?
The previous aloof version was somewhat easier for her to accept.
Upon hearing this, Bao Nan looked down at her and chuckled softly, "I'm really happy today."
He certainly was happy.
He had unintentionally undermined a rival in love, and he was now taking Tongtong to the place where they first met.
He wondered if she still remembered...
Jiang Tong was led by Bao Nan until they arrived under the big banyan tree on the other side of the playground.
"Come, sit over here."
Bao Nan sat down on the steps under the tree first, then gestured for her to join him.
Though puzzled by his actions, Jiang Tong obediently sat beside him.
