Three days later.
When the bells rang through the damp morning fog, the towering spire of the Light Sacrifice Tower gradually revealed its outline. Cloaked priests knelt before the statue, commencing a lengthy prayer.
And at the bottom of the tower, Roy finally saw some new, stern faces.
They wore similarly conservative long dresses, holding white candles as they spoke in a hymn-like voice: "Please follow us, cleanse the filth and evil from your body, and face the judgment of the gods."
Roy curled her lips: "Oh, I understand, it's time to serve me a bath."
The nuns holding white candles stalled for a moment, quickly covering their eyes' displeasure and disdain, only saying, "A filthy body cannot enter the Holy Light Hall."
The so-called Holy Light Hall is the top-floor hall of the Light Sacrifice Tower. Its style is grand, with exquisite murals and walls adorned with countless beautiful stained glass.
