"I heard from my father that when you and His Highness Theodore went to inspect the border, you encountered an enemy attack," Dora explained, "I couldn't attend the ball a few days ago as I was out of town, but I heard from others that you looked well. It's only now, after seeing you, that I'm completely relieved."
For the sake of national honor, the attack was not widely publicized.
Thus, only a small number of high-ranking officials and nobles knew about it.
Roy touched her face, which hadn't cooled down, and smiled slightly to express her thanks. Dora's gaze shifted and noticed the book in the hands of the Beastman Guard: "Did you go to the library?"
"Yes. Picked up some interesting books." Roy glanced at the sky, "Sorry, I need to go home, let's talk another time."
Dora showed obvious disappointment on her face.
She hesitated, cleared her throat, and asked, "Tomorrow... is our tea time. Will Miss Roy be coming?"
