Her doppelganger sat where Herbert had just been sitting, took a deep breath to greedily inhale his scent into her lungs, and chuckled to herself, "This is truly an unexpected development."

The Teleportation Gate flashed and vanished, and in this momentary gap, Herbert dove through from behind the gate, tumbling awkwardly on the ground before standing up gracefully again.
"Heh, a mere Hungry Dragon, that's all it is... hiss."
He grimaced, rubbing his palms, lamenting, "Whew! That was thrilling! I was almost caught there!"
Upon pushing open the Teleportation Gate, Herbert almost ran into Valentina patrolling around, nearly getting stopped halfway!
