Lucy patted her on the back, "It's all over now."
"I won't keep you guys chatting, I should get going."
Lucy let go of Mia and looked at the old lady, "Granny, don't leave. It's so late already, just stay here for the night."
"Yes, ma'am," Jacob agreed, "Please don't go."
"No," the old lady replied, "Here's my home address, you must come over for lunch tomorrow."
She handed the address she had prepared to Lucy, "I'll be waiting for you."
"Okay, I will definitely come," Lucy said, taking the address, and they all walked her to the door.
Originally, Nathaniel was going to drive her, but she insisted on not needing a ride, saying she was used to walking back and forth and that she couldn't sleep once she got home anyway.
As the door closed, John Green asked, "Lucy, how did you meet this old lady?"
