"Alright." Lucy Wells was unsure why, but she felt a bit flustered inside.
After Sophie Wilson quickly left, she went downstairs and saw Charles Seymour's car. As soon as the door opened, she dashed inside without worrying about getting hit, and the person inside steadily caught her, acting as her cushion.
"You came at just the right moment, perfect timing." Sophie clung to someone, snuggling and acting cute. Just seeing this person made her heart blossom with joy, and she felt like the air was filled with a sweet aroma.
"Does this mean I'm creating opportunities for my cousin?" Sophie asked Charles, smiling brightly.
"Mm." Charles responded, his tone unchanged from usual. Yet Sophie clearly detected that his mood was a bit down, like an unhappy little puppy with ruffled fur.
"What's wrong? Is there an issue at the company?" Sophie asked curiously, gently petting him to calm him.
"No one is creating opportunities for me," Charles said gloomily.
