How clever she was, recording Ethan Seymour's scolding of Charles Seymour, then calling Old Mr. Seymour to let him listen to the situation firsthand, preventing Ethan from fabricating nonsense.

"Hmm." Charles Seymour nodded, whatever Sophie said was right.
"There's a good hotpot place; want to try it tomorrow?" Once things had passed, Sophie Wilson didn't take James and his father seriously. It was better to go on a nice date with her Mr. Seymour.
"Okay." Charles Seymour nodded; if Sophie loved to eat, then they'd naturally go.
