Walking out of the pack's clinic, i made my way back to the Queen's court to confront them. I was fuming angrily at the guards who had refused to grant me access inside to see my patient but I needed to talk to the queens and understand why they had forbidden the guards from letting me through. I haven't done anything wrong to the best of my knowledge so I couldn't quite understand what exactly was their problem.
On my way there, i stopped at Jayden's side of the palace. I don't know why i did but i found my feet rooted on the spot unable to move further as i scanned the entire premise. It was quiet except for the maids trooping in and out to carry out their business.
I waited there for a moment, hoping that maybe i would catch a glimpse of him. I knew very well that he was in his chambers. He has been doing a very good job staying away from me and avoiding me as well. He was being serious when he said that he didn't want to see me anymore.
