I woke up the next morning at the first crack of dawn to an empty room. It took me a second to realize that i was still at the palace and not at Katherine's house. I sighed deeply and that's when it hit me that last night had really happened and that it wasn't just a dream as i had hoped. I'm really not going anywhere. I am stuck in this unfortunate place.
Worst part of everything Is that I can't leave because Liam had told me that his father will search for me and bring me back here no matter where I ran to so even that option is futile.
I rolled out of the huge bed when i heard a knock on the door. Perturbed, i walked up to open it only to see two maids standing outside with a tray and basket containing different items.
"Good morning, my lady." They greeted me warmly. "We're here to get you ready for breakfast. The royal family is expecting you to dine with them." They informed me and i opened the door widely to let them in.
