"What's wrong, Mom?"
Aunt Zhou sighed: "Just think about Captain Shi, such a good-looking man, and he can make money too, why is his mind so unclear?"
A grown man with such a soft heart, raising five kids, and he wants to send them all to school—goodness, it's like money burns a hole in his pocket.
But then again, does this mean their family has lots of savings?
Aunt Zhou felt both hot and cold in her heart.
Looking at her daughter again, Zhou Hongfang leaned over and hugged her mom's arm: "Mom, what's going on?"
Aunt Zhou tenderly touched her shiny black braid:
"It's nothing. Just that thing we discussed about Captain Shi, it probably won't work out."
Zhou Hongfang sat up straight—why wouldn't it work out? They haven't even met yet.
Besides, she's a young lady, finding a man with five kids, why say it won't work before even meeting them?
Where does this leave her pride?
